McAlli's Clan

The Clan had never really had a name. When it first came to be, founded by a Shadow Mirror who gathered the first members in the Driftwood Drag, it had been an unhappy cluster. The Matriarch, rabidly loyal to the Shadowbinder, all but forced her clan members to breed and send their children to their Mother, regardless of their feelings. It was a good day when Onikaan, a young but powerful Skydancer, took control of the Clan. She was stern, but she was much kinder, and while she was also loyal to the Shadowbinder, she allowed the clan members to decide the fate of their own. She was wise, counselled by her mate and Adviser, Glitch, as well as specially chosen Speakers of each Flight. She ruled with an equal and fair claw, her mysterious crown of bones always rested upon her brow. When it came her time to serve the Shadowbinder, Onikaan and Glitch laid one last nest together. Three daughters were born. Two joined them on their journey, while one remained to rule. Hahnumon, "The Daughter of Dreams", was to be counselled by the new Adviser, Briinah, "The Sister". Together, their clan is still growing and shifting, but it is a happy clan.
