I'm really trying to make sure we know exactly when and where we'll go, since this will be in wild territory. I've never gone travelling much further than Terraclae, so I don't know what this is going to be like. What our current plan looks like: [LIST=1] [*] Leave Ploughtour to reach Sandfall, the west exit of Terraclae (1 day) [*] Take the tunnels down to the bottom of the breach in Sandfall (3 days) [*] Travel north in the Greatwyrm's Breach towards the Pillar of the World (7 days?) [*] Ask/look around for Falcon if she's been seen anywhere [*] Investigate the ruins (Ink's research) [/LIST] [size=4][font=book antiqua]Ink is quite confident about the route, and I trust that she knows how it works. She's not too keen on me setting time limits on the days we spend in each area, but it's important to be able to get the right number of resources. I don't want her eggs to be too much of a burden, so I want to take it slow, even if the other two don't like it too much. Aspen trusts my judgement most of the time, so I think I'm alright in wanting to be careful with where we're going. I have to wake up early tomorrow for the journey, but these nerves running through my body are keeping me up. He wasn't with any other dragons, but he was acting very high and mighty for his stature. When I asked him what his name is, he got up on a rock, puffed out his chest and proclaimed "Royal! My name, is Royal!". He has a lot of confidence for his age. I didn't want him to be in any danger so I brought him to come with the group until we find his parents. I assume his parents are around, since why else would Royal be here? Ink has already taken him under her wing, though he's acting as though he is the boss around here. Tomorrow we should be headed out into the Breach finally, though we do have Royal to take care of. Morning told me and Ink that we shouldn't leave the hatchling alone. Of course, I don't want Royal to be abandoned and lost in the tunnels. We only got through them thanks to Ink guiding us with a map she had gotten before we left Ploughtour from before. Oh, but talking about her makes me feel bad. Sometimes I wonder if I want to keep bothering with acting as the pseudo-leader. Ink is the real one here leading us all, she knows more about the route than the rest of us here. Morning comes to her to discuss the plan, and then tells me afterwards. I thought that, since I was the one to want to go search for Falcon, and Morning happily came with me, that my goal would be the main one. But instead Ink is taking charge, talking constantly about the history of the tunnels and her research. I can't help but feel some resentment when I see the two talking with each other instead of me. Ink doesn't know my sister, she doesn't care, she purely wants to research her ruins and help us on the side. I don't want to let her be the one to take charge of this search. And the fact that Morning is engrossed with her purely hurts me even more. Didn't they care about Falcon too? We don't spend as much time together after we stop for the night either anymore. Instead, they choose to go to Ink and talk with her, while I am stuck thinking about whatever passes through my mind. I must take a stronger stance as the leader of this group. I don't want Ink to take over the journey.
