Today me and Morning Sun, my close friend, set out from home to try and find my big sister, Falcon. She left three months ago now, but we've heard not a single word from her. Ma says that the Search is a long journey, and that she'll send over a message once she's able to, but I can see that even she's starting to worry now. Since I'm the next oldest after Falcon, I decided to head out to look for her. Ma was actually pretty against me going after her, but I'm sticking to what I'm doing. I have a bad feeling in my gut, so I told Morning Sun about my plan and they gladly said they'd help me out. Now then, the only idea I have as to where Falcon went to was the Greatwyrm's Breach since she told us all that she was headed there to find her Charge. We decided to take a caravan over to Terraclae to find somebody to tell us more about the breach, since the Colonnades can be filled with greedy dragons trying to get a quick buck. Now the caravan has stopped at Burrow for the night, and we're going to stay here today and tomorrow. The leader of the carriage is a Nocturne called Riberu. He seems friendly enough, but I and Morning Sun both agree that he seems a bit... off. He said that the caravan will be leaving tomorrow morning, but we're going to take the next one available. We've paid already so it doesn't matter anyways. I don't actually know what to do tomorrow. I have this want to try and find Falcon, but I don't know how to pinpoint where she is. Morning Sun suggested to me that we ask around the town tomorrow if any Guardian that went to the Greatwyrm's Breach stayed here. I went off to the local shops and Morning Sun went to the inns around town. Everyone I spoke to said that so many travellers pass through Burrow that it's impossible to remember them, and that I'm better off waiting for some message from Falcon. It was annoying having to hear the same thing again and again, but one interesting thing did happen. I passed by a fortune teller's stall when going to my next stop. He was a Fae wearing many silks and the heavy smell of incense coated his stall. He called me over, and I was going to ignore him since I don't believe in fortune telling, but I thought it wouldn't hurt for some entertainment. Now, I'm pretty bad at telling what Faes are saying since my hearing isn't the best, and their fin movements distract me, but he managed to tell me clear as day that I have some powerful latent power inside of me. I'm a Guardian. Of course I don't have any magic in me yet. However, he then told me that I will be able to unlock this strength soon and use it to make important decisions in my journey for my sister, Falcon. I hadn't told him about my trip at all, and not about Falcon either, so that really took me by surprise. I was going to give him a couple coins for the information, but he refused. What a nice fellow! Anyways, Morning Sun found me after that and told me that our best bet is in Terraclae. If Falcon was safe then she might be over there, since that's where other explorers from down there head to to record their findings from the ruins and abandoned clans down there. If not, well we might be able to get some information as to what lays down there so we can get an idea of what sort of situation Falcon is in. Tomorrow we're going to catch the first caravan over to Terraclae. I told Morning Sun about the fortune teller thing, and they laughed at me for believing him. It's all in good fun, but I still feel like he's right about there being something inside of me. Ah, I'll probably forget about it in a week's time. I'm going to hang out at the tavern with Morning now. since there's some unofficial rules about extra Royal jobs (check it out!), i decided i want to incorporate that into my locke!

i am going to adjust them since i feel like some jobs are a bit too powerful namely archmage and general, so you can find my wip rules on the front page

Morning Sun managed to find a Veilspun, Jelane, that's happy to hitch us a ride over. Apparently she wants to find a guide down to the Plague wastelands for whatever reason, and there has been a buzz among the historians in Terraclae about Plague, so she's hoping to find someone to take her along. I personally have no clue why anyone would want to go down there, where there are so many vicious and violent beasts and diseases. It makes my fins twitch just thinking about all the nasty infections you can catch just from walking on the ground there. I spoke with Morning about what we're going to do once we reach the place. They suggested we should ask for someone who knows the Greatwyrm's Breach, and then from there we can ask them about any news of a lost Guardian and what it's like down there. Jelane said that there dragons from all sorts of places there. It [i]is[/i] a hub for rock enthusiasts, so I don't doubt that we're going to be able to find someone to help us out. Today I did notice that my beard is matting a bit, which bothers me. All of the dirt from our travels is getting stuck in it, and it's growing. I'll have to spend the evening grooming it while the caravan's moving.
