The founders of the House, originally organised in the lands of the Shadow Flight, emigrated to the Earthlands and purchased the property at a bargain price, given that it was in a state of disrepair. Over time, and with a lot of treasure dumped into the efforts, they turned the cliff dwelling into a respectable lair. So the origins of the House itself aren't a mystery; the weird thing is that dragons born on the 17th day of the 7th month keep turning up. While she was one to gamble, using chance to test her extraordinary luck in ways to benefit the clan, she was not so much a fool that she would play when there was a delicate balance to maintain. As one of the Clan Representatives, and the official Advisor, her occasional almost uncaring attitude was always tested with the more serious matters that came her way. As the bond of the two founders grew to be more of a balancing act, the fae was careful with how her playful nature and habit of gambling were brought out. Her luck has lasted the clan so many years... But the Hive calls to her one last time.[/i][/center] Claws gently passed over the silken cape that rested on the wall, hung gently with the crown and collar that matched so well. The softest of whispers in the back of her mind made her wings shimmer slightly, the cloak of near invisibility that had come to her scales after so many years within the ambient nonlethal magical fallout of the structure hiding her before her head turned. The rooms of the advisors were in a special place, high enough up that a dragon of smaller size would need to fly up, and a dragon of greater size would need to carefully place their weight against the wall so as to maintain balance to look inside. The only exemption was, and always seemed to be, Lairfather. The large eye of the male peered in, watching her in respectful silence as she prepared herself, a travel cloak of similar color to her self chosen "Advisor Outfit" was in her free claws. Her frills flicked in acknowledgement. "Sometimes I cannot understand why The Hive would send any away." His voice, a low and calm rumble of thunder that made the crystal quiver under her feet, was oddly soothing. There was silence before she moved toward the entry-hole, careful not to wake the sleeping bat shaped spirit. "Do any of us?" Her frills moved to denote she was asking a question before suddenly flicking to show irritation. "You best not let her ruin what was made by all of us." "You must take me a fool Rubinaee..." There was motion as he moved his gaze from her room, allowing her the familiar action of crawling out and gliding the ever so short distance to rest on one of his great horns. "I may be the luck of the clan, but that does not mean I do not feel nervousness or fear. I do still have the best pokerface in the whole of Rune Hive, though." As she had learned so many years ago, a cocky smirk could only enhance the tilt of her frills. While her monotone voice was unnerving, the way she could emote unnerved many as only a True Shadow Dragon could. The clan leader huffed, the tremor from the movement making her whole body shake on his horn, yet she did not fall as this was an accustomed to happening. "Fitting you leave during the Festival." He spoke, massive form carefully moving to his usual place upon the highest point of the clan's home structure. The night was a blessing of cloudless skies filled with countless stars and while the moon was not full, it was still quite the sight above them. Her eyes gazed up to look over things, wings flickering in and out of sight as she swayed slightly with the breeze from this high above the world of Sornieth. It was such a beautiful night to be her last here at the place she had been born into from an egg found so alone and discarded. The guardians... her sort of adoptive parents from that moment on... "Fitting... Yes." Her eyes closed, feeling the whispers of sorrow and wishes of wellness and farewell at the back of her mind. A tear from each eye slipped free, and they opened again. "I will miss you... not all... but I will miss you." "And we you. Ix has already taken himself ahead to herald your arrival. Well wishes from the clan were sent." With the guardian's words, she opened her wings. "Glass will be your guard. She holds a crystal to shorten the journey and hasten your travel." "Always thinking of us, aren't you Father?" Her frills flicked in farewell as she took to the sky and flew down, the final whispers of directions fading into her mind as she knew her name above the room was fading from the call of the home itself. Her time here had passed, and in another it would continue. There was no talking between the pair as the armored wildclaw almost soundlessly joined her in flight, the crystal flaring with the smallest etched runes before the wind magics within flared to life and brought them quickly to speed toward their new destination. It was a short trip to the Earth Flight's territory, made even shorter by the magics that were slowly dying out within the rather powerful crystal. Her wings beat slower, seeing the destination that felt right in her mind as the presence so familiar was leaving. These new grounds, the air a touch drier and trees much fewer and the land less iridescent than that of her former home made her heart ache, but she settled slowly. Her eyes roamed the dragons that had gathered to see the nervous and twisting form of the spiral messenger, one holding the letter that had been sent before the pair of travelers. Glass slowed to allow the shadow fae to make her own entrance, her wings beating slower before she came to rest on one of the decorations that must have marked one of the edges of the property. Her luck had not yet run out, and with a bow she spoke her first words in her new home. "I apologize for waking you all, but I am glad to be joining you. Where might I be sleeping?"

A dragon is considered finished when they are

• fully gened
• have apparel
• have an accent or skin
• have a scene (except with skin/accent transparency issues)
• have a (matchy) familiar
• have a vista
• have the bio template
• and have a broadcast message

Remove from queue when the dragon is complete. Simple.

Note to Self: Do not continue until bio template is complete, because every single dragon is technically unfinished until that is done.
