Piggybacking off of the Glimmer and Gloom comment, you can use this tool https://legofigure11.github.io/fr/glimmer-and-gloom/ using this guide https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/2765443. i know it looks complicated at first but once you get the hang of it you can make 4000 treasure about every 30 seconds.
most importantly, however - dont worry about minmaxing your FR experience. Take it easy and slow, browse the website at your own pace. if you dont know what to do you can either click the which waystone on the bottom right of your screen which suggests you tasks you have left to do, or you can go to the achievements tab under the Clan category, then tap the switch on the top right to get to pursuits which give you rewards for completing relatively minor tasks daily, weekly, and monthly.
If you have questions or need help, feel free to friend or message me! I will gladly lend a hand with any further questions you have. We're all family here :)

Another useful tool is this website: http://fr.fintastic.net
with it, you can predict the color ranges of two dragons youre breeding in case you want to breed for specific colors. ive used it a lot, its nice.
Another thing of note: don't forget to do things that are limited to one refresh per day. that includes gathering items, bonding with familiars, picking up an item from pinkerton's plundered pile on the trading post, or incubating eggs in the nesting grounds. It's minor, but still pretty useful in the long run.

doubling down on the g&g suggestions, it is definitely the quickest way to cap your 75k fairgrounds lucky streak and it really adds up if you are consistent with it every day
if you use discord and aren't put off by larger servers, then i would definitely find your flight's discord and join! im not sure how active arcane's is, but the wind flight discord is great and it's a really good way to connect with your fellow flight members :]

Other people have mentioned the importance of a max level coliseum team. I'd like to add that the Night of the Nocturne event is in late December, and it's a great opportunity to make a lot of money in the coliseum. During the event, monsters will drop strange chests, which have a chance to contain unhatched nocturne eggs which sell for a lot of gems. So I'd recommend trying to get a max level team by then!
For more info on Night of the Nocturne, here's last year's newspost:

My tip is to use the game database! You can look up any item, and it will tell you how to obtain it. This is useful for unlocking hibernal den slots, or if you want a specific gene for your dragon but you're not sure where to get it.
Also, if you are using forum search to look for answers to a question or whatnot, by default it is set to "most relevant". You want to set it to "most recent" because otherwise the search function pulls up years old posts that might not be accurate anymore. When I was new I was trying to figure out what all this night of the nocturne stuff was about, and figured the forums would have guides/advice. But they add new stuff every year, so a thread from 7 years ago isn't going to be all that helpful.

Something that helps me is always having a few goals when I'm playing this game, and it honestly helps me personally to have a few to switch between. Right now, I really want to focus on getting scatter scrolls for a specific dragon, so that I can get some colors that will work for my project.
Some of my other goals are much smaller, like finding a good dragon for some of my dragons who are more difficult to pair up, or I want something that will make nicer hatchlings. I also have a wide range of projects varying in complexity, price, and how long it will take to achieve them, and being able to pick and choose the ones that interest me in the moment can be really nice.
However, try not to take up so many projects it becomes overwhelming, which is very easy to do. I find myself overwhelmed by a lot of the projects I have taken on, a lot of them I started on this site because I was younger, had more time, and my tastes were generally different. It does mean I have to have more focus on fewer projects, but it feels better than being spread too thin in my own hobby.

Welcome to Flight Rising!
One of my favorite resources is Teba's masterpost of guides, tools, and more. It's a really easy place to get information about a ton of different Flight Rising related things! For example this guide to Flight Rising abbreviations and forum lingo.
Also, I recommend Crowe's BBCode Compendium for learning what BBCode is and how to use it. This guide takes you step by step through what it is and how to use it in your forum posts, dragon bios, and more!

I definitely recommend buying lair space. It may seem insignificant now, but you’ll need it.
When I was brand new, I found this guide for making money that was a real lifesaver. Also I see you’re Arcane, check the Arcane forums, we have a newbie welcome center!

1. Seconding learning how to play Glimmer and Gloom in the Fairgrounds. It can definitely be confusing at first, but if you have a good guide on how to do it, it will become a game changer.
I personally recommend learning how to play it in HARD mode; it was the easiest way for me to learn it, and there were no other outside tools or other things required to help me solve it. And once I got the hang of it, solving GlimGloom just became muscle memory. Now I get 75,000 treasure every day in like, 5 minutes!
THIS: https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/2518295/1 was the guide that I used to help me learn.
2. Also seconding to get a good coliseum team ASAP! The coliseum is a great place to get food for your dragons, along with a lot of other stuff. You'll also get more event currency from the coliseum during the monthly flight festivals and other events: like Night of the Nocturne, which is coming up towards the end of December!
I'm not sure if Arcane has one, but most flights usually have threads in the flight exclusive forums with some sort of level 25 dragon lending service or something similar! Try starting there to help you get a team. Or, save up some money to buy a few level 25 dragons from the auction house!
Once you have a level 25 dragon (or a few), you can use this guide to figure out which coliseum build will be best! https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/2441268/1
3. Speaking of Night of the Nocturne, it's one of the longest and most lucrative events in Flight Rising! And usually the one players are excited for the most. I recommend checking out this guide to understand what it's about and how to prepare for it: https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/3296218
4. Something simple that you can start out with now is gathering familiars and putting them on your dragons! You earn a little bit of treasure every time you bond with your familiars, and chests once you reach certain milestones with them! You can open the chests for some treasure/gems and a random assortment of items, or you can just sell the chests on the auction house for pure cash.
Be sure to bond with your familiars every day - the treasure/chest amount you get can add up quickly. And the more familiars you have, the more treasure/chests you get!
Bonding with your familiars is also another great way to earn event currency during a festival or some other event! You can get familiars from the coliseum, and there are TONS of familiars on the auction house listed for cheap. I would buy them from the auction house and not the marketplace.
Here's a guide on how to bond with a lot of familiars really quickly: https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/3066466#post_3066466 And if you just want to bond with the familiars assigned to you dragons, you can just use the arrow keys on your keyboard instead of clicking!
5. Another simple thing you can start doing now is melting stuff at Baldwin's Cauldron in the trading post! If you don't really care about any of the things (apparel/familiars/etc.) that you can make there, you can just sell the materials (goo/ooze/sludge/muck/slime) directly on the auction house for treasure or gems - and some of them sell for a lot!
Alternatively, you can brew the materials and brew recipes in the cauldron, then sell those on the auction house for treasure or gems.
Here's a guide on Baldwin: https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/2884586 It's a bit outdated, but I think it covers the basics pretty well.
6. The Guides forum will be your best friend for a while! There are a lot of good resources there. If you're confused about anything or want a little more information on something, try checking out the Guides forum for an answer!
If you can't find an answer or a solution there, you can go to the Help Center forum and ask any questions you may have there!
