Flight territories are always shifting, their boundaries loosely defined by the elemental magic that ebbs and flows across the land. One particularly contested location is the border of the Scarred Wasteland and the Tangled Wood. Here, the Contagion wanders, enveloping trees and swallowing rivers. Towering curls of bramble constrict around fleshy tendrils to hold them back, and acidic, bubbling ponds form from the wounds left by thorns. Invasive strains of mushrooms and algae crowd out the native flora, leeching the land of resources. To face the Plague is to face compounding threats; each living thing killed by sickness is a new biome for parasitic incursion. Dragons know this area as the Sourglade, home of the Forgotten...
