So I figured out a way to ultimately streamline the Glimmer & Gloom Very Hard solution. This tool will let you complete any Very Hard puzzle and earn 4kt in 30 seconds.
The tool itself is a mock-up of the in-game board. It will tell you which magic tiles to click in order to solve your puzzle.

1. Choose who you want to win. Then, assuming you chose Light:
2. Clear the board in-game by clicking to the BOTTOM RIGHT of each SHADOW tile you see, starting from the top left corner (just like in every other G&G guide, but if you're having trouble, I gave an explanation here!). Now the entire board should be LIGHT except for a few tiles along the bottom and bottom right edges. That's where you'll see a row of checkboxes in the tool.
3. Check the respective boxes if the tiles are SHADOW in-game, leave them unchecked if they're LIGHT.

4. In-game, CLICK the tiles that are marked RED in the tool, once, in any order.
5. Repeat step 2. That's it, puzzle solved.
If you chose Shadow to win, reverse the instructions (start by making the entire board Shadow, then check the Light tiles).

@Catradora made the original G&G Very Hard guide.
@JumboDS64 reworked it into an even simpler guide.
@sQld (that's me!) came up with the ultimate solver and designed the original Google Sheet. I noticed the previous guides require you to work through 9 possible clicking sequences along the same tiles. But whenever two sequences need you to click the same tile, they cancel each other out. So my sheet checked if the total number of clicks is even or odd. You only actually have to click if it's odd.
@Sevi was an absolute angel and improved my sheet by adding those neat checkboxes.
@KnightOfChance made it so much better by adding the Light/Shadow switch.
@sikora helped the sheet stay functional by fixing minor mess-ups and upgrading my user guide.
@LegoFigure11 converted the sheet into a GitHub site, making it much more reliable and suitable for multi-player use.
The old Google Sheet version is still online if anyone needs it. The sheet is locked! If you're a Google Drive user, you can make a copy to your own Drive, then the copy will be fully editable.

Pings are cool! It's @sqld, with a lowercase L, not @sqid. | --- |
