Luminous is already a decade old! I got him for 250kT (!) all the way back in 2015 because I decided I need a 6 digit born on a date special to me. Glad I did!
Enchant, my former Clan leader's husband, and one of my very first L25s. He's been a favorite for a long time. Fun fact, I sort of based him on the kind of person I wanted to date back then. His updated lore is influenced a little bit by my husband now. He's been regened once, when Flaunt/Flair came out.
Random progen / former Clan leader/ Enchant's wife. Was a self-insert for a long time (named after
my favorite flower to make it less obvious) before I got almost a decade of therapy and then her personality no longer fit for a sona. I have a bittersweet love for this time capsule of a dragon. She's been regened a few times, but never scattered. I like how she looks now.
Enchant's brother, Duskrunner. His old owner had been inactive for a loooooong time and was basically just checking in for nostalgia's sake when I bought him. Got super lucky here.
Fiver, my first L25, bought with my first 300kT... because that was the price of a fully stoned fighter with Eliminate back then. I will always, always, always have a soft spot for my tragic and battered old rooster. The content of his lore hasn't changed at all, but the framing of it absolutely did over the years. He's never ever leaving my lair. He's never had his genes changed.
Ivanna, the first dragon I ever bought. I remember wanting more dragons waaaay back when and being impatient for my progens' first nest, and when I saw her (in all her Tiger/shimmer/gembond glory) I thought "WOW she's stunning!" She's always been the bedrock of the Clan, and I adore her to this day. She might get Fern eventually but her one regene still makes me happy and she's one of the few dragons I love with Tiger.
Hezom, my first Lightning rep, with my first custom accent, back when I was still in Lightning! I won him in a writing contest back in like 2015 (although his lore has changed and grown since then). Hezom has always been one of my very favorites and probably always will be. He's also holding my first Sprite (bought specifically for him) and is the first and only dragon I ever bought 2013 apparel for. (The power pack is now worn by his apprentice/ successor,
Cherenkov) His journey mirrors my own journey navigating through severe and dangerous burnout in a very type-A family. Very much a time capsule.
I bought Steve as a mate for Ivanna way back when, because I was so enamored with her looks, and he's basically always been an extension of her lorewise. It's nice to have a low-stakes spooky boy stick around so long. Maybe I should pull them out and breed them for halloween. Their youngest children are positively geriatric in their own right...
Knifehead! Another low-stakes sentimental dragon and another one I bought early because she was pretty. She's always been a fixture in my lair and I'm glad to peek over her again.
Nariza and Areana were the first dragons I bought as an established breeding pair. I think their colors are still pretty and they still hold up to this day, despite their "vintage" genes. I was stumped on Nariza's lore for the longest time until Baldwin came out! Back in my day, he was a Pearlcatcher!
Cash, the second dragon I ever bought! He looked like trees covered in snow in the winter and I was listening to a lot of Johnny Cash at the time. He had a fling with Ivanna for a while, then he got a
husband, then adopted a
kid, then I gave the family away in a lair clearout, then someone found the 3 of them for fodder price on the AH years later, then the person who saved them from the AH contacted me and I bought them all back, and now they're safe. It's been a whole Thing.
Ahh, Samsara, my custom progen, what a ride it's been. I first made him this way because I liked White/Ice IriShim, then regretted it when he rolled a bad tert, then startedloving my random progen more... He's had quite the journey but I like his reformation arc.
Eclipse, my fodder trainer/ mire flier! I bought him foreeeeever ago and he's been the dragon I interact with most because he's the main staple of my coli team. He's in desperate need of a new tert but I just can't do it for sentimental reasons so I just stuck a skin on him. Love this guy.
Adaro is a more recent purchase (like 4-5 years ago?) and I am honestly surprised he's this old. This poor guy has a condition, whether magical or mundane, that makes it so that (nearly) every Searching Guardian makes him their Charge. The fact that most of his Guardians are horrible people is just a coincidence. Poor guy. I need to buy him more.
Eriadnos and Awen were gifts from a dear friend when he decided to quit FR. Awen needs her lore, and Eri might need a regene, but they're here to stay.
Xeo is... well... she's an AH rescue and I have no idea what I'm going to do with her. Sell? Regene? No idea.
