A great ruddy winged lion, comparable in size to a massive Featherback Boar, paces down the hallway with a calm, measured, self assured gait. His massive mane is full and plush enough to make even the lair's biggest and most dominant tundras jealous, and his jaunty top hat brings a touch of whimsy to something so menacing. Hezom isn't fooled, of course: the most logical minds are often the most impervious to illusion. Most people just know it's Change because the red and brown lion is his favorite guise. Though Change is always up for a change.
He's rambunctious and playful, and more physical than one would expect a pearlcatcher to be. True to his breed, Change is secure in the knowledge that he is fortunate enough to be of the best species of dragon, and his life experiences make him unquestionably one of the best pearlcatchers out there. After all, who else would be able to make such powerful illusions for the clan? Who else can make others see what's not there? Illusions are a plague on the mind, in his estimation, and he's very good at honoring the Plaguebringer. One of Her best, obviously. It's not anyone else's fault they aren't as good as he is.
Despite his attitude, Change is almost aggressively friendly, though he tends to hold most others at a distance. The best way to get good gossip is to befriend everyone, after all. He's the son of Cash and Cash, and has (in his estimation) the best fathers in the world. Have trouble with Change? Good luck finding him, first of all... and after that, good luck surviving his dads' wrath.
Change is transgender. It caused him massive amounts of pain when he was younger, but now he has the dysphoria mostly under control (especially after his gender-affirming Silhouette procedure), and on good days is happy to talk endlessly about his experiences. In his mind, it's just another medical condition, and he doesn't see why it's a huge deal to some dragons. It shapes his experience of life, but isn't his only defining characteristic. After all, he was lucky enough to be born a pearlcatcher, and most dragons aren't so fortunate. Besides, it made him tougher than most, and what good Plagueling isn't tough?
