Knifehead

Knifehead is the daughter of a top advisor and a diplomat. She grew up underfoot while her hawkish mother helped direct clan affairs, and her silver-tongued father negotiated trade deals. Words, words and doublespeak, and Knifehead didn't want anything to do with it. A few days after war broke out in her birth clan, Knifehead fled to the Viridian Labyrinth. She was sick and tired of all the ceaseless bloodshed.

There, she fell in with a clan of wildclaws who took her in. Knifehead wanted nothing to do with fighting, and seemed slated to drop out of the pack for good, until one young female introduced her to the world of cooking. "Flavor balance is an art, just as honorable as painting dens or murals. You can make the taste buds sing, if you know how to use the right spices and the right techniques.

So Knifehead learned. Knifehead learned and learned, experimented and invented, and eventually was able to gain status in the pack. She took a few mates, most notably a handsome orange wildclaw, but was never really serious about it. Her true passion lies in food, and it shows. When she left the wildclaw pack to pursue more lucrative job opportunities, Knifehead ended up in the Shifting Expanse, looking up job listings. She figured her dour, serious, no-nonsense personality would fit in down here, and if they were looking for a specialist chef, she wouldn't be expected to fight.

Clan AXQU was looking for a chef, and it had a pretty sizable RidgePack. Even better, she could be around her own kind, and borrow to her heart's content in a place where it wouldn't come to blows or be taken personally. Knifehead has a sense of humor that came out as soon as she joined Clan AXQU: bone-dry and understated. As little as she emotes, Knifehead is very happy to be a part of a clan where her expertise is valued.
