[url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/58029315][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/580294/58029315_350.png[/img][/url] this is mara, she’s from destiny. she was kind of my miracle find - i don’t think i’d ever find a dragon with such perfect colors for her. maybe she doesn’t match her brother (an imperial) but wildclaw feathers work perfectly for her. she’s just all kinds of perfect and i don’t show her off enough, but i did nothing but the best for my queen, dammit. sorry to be like this, but yeah. please show me your babies.

And her colours are perfect for the character :0 This is an ateez fandragon of Mingi and I have drawn cowboy mingi so many times, there is just something about cowboy mingi that I love, the outfit in the videos and the massive jacket he wears just makes me happy <3 I tried to follow the outfit as much as possible, even down to his pink hair that can't be seen, the little ribbons coming from his hat, even the amount of necklaces he's wearing. it just makes me so happy and I just often catch myself staring at my dragon bc I feel like I did him justice :) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/91566908][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/915670/91566908_350.png[/img][/url] I've also started on an ateez Yunho outfit but he's still in the works atm, and not sure if it was the right dragon choice??? Yeah i get u. i fell back into Mass Effect and the first thing I saw when i checked it on social media was pure hate for my fav character that wasn't even accurate. I blocked and muted ofc but it's not fun. I never played much Destiny because i didn't have much time when it came out but Mara is bang accurate. Such a wonderful interpretation! Also poked around your tab--you have a great many fandragons and they look fantastic. Me, detective fiction is my special interest, and I really like Detective Conan so much I made a fanlair of it I like KID so much I have several fandragons of him because he can disguise as anyone so when i get a new one I always make sure it's a new breed. His design is pretty basic for phantom thieves so I try to spice it up here and there. I like it, it's great, but it's not my special interest, but it makes me happy just to do stuff that makes them happy.

You have so many amazing fandragons in your lair!! LOVE all the FF and KH ones in particular, but TerminalSeven is also hilariously perfect. He was kind of an impulse buy, because I saw him and went "wait. i can use this." and in hindsight, I probably could/should have gone with a blue-colored Runes tert to better allude to his in-game appearance, but w/e I'm too attached to think of redoing him lol. I have plenty of scries/outfits planned for Special Interest(tm) fandragons (including a few FF) but for now, they remain just scries orz

Oh my gosh I’m so sorry you had that happen to you, I’ve had someone do it to me and it absolutely gutted me, I have never felt so small and exposed I’m lucky enough that I do have good friends who think my special interests are fun and cool, I hope you have someone in your life who encourages you with your passions. The joyless jerks of the world want to take away the things that make us happy because they’re also miserable and it’s easier to drag someone down to their level rather than work to find their own happy. The heck with them. I don’t know Mara’s source material but [i]holy cow[/i] she is magnificent!!! A queen indeed, your fan dragon looks like a perfect match to the pic in her bio, and I agree that Wildclaw suits her. *looks at lair* I mean… pretty much the whole thing is a love letter to my special interests lmao So, I read a lot of fanfic (and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT my AO3 bookmarks have surpassed the 6k mark and are steadily approaching 7k, and that’s just the ones I wanted to keep for future rereads) and I tend to go in cycles - every so often, I get a hankering to revisit my favorite universes again, and this past month I fell back into The Hobbit, so I decided to make an Erebor fan dragon to go along with my Shire and Eren Lasgalen dragons. I knew I wanted the primary to be in the green range, to represent the area around the mountain, and Boulder would add some swirling contour and extra shades of earthy color. Since the accent was for a male guardian, the wings were going to represent the sky so they needed to be in the white/gray range, so I could use Paint to make a cloud effect. I’m not… actually sure why I went with capsule for the tert, tbh; I must have had some reason but it’s escaping me atm. I was lucky enough to find an earth dragon in the range I was looking for, so I made him a primal to represent the Arkenstone, as well as using his familiar to do so. Then I added snow and a dragon, fire and treasure, and he was complete!

Aww yis, another fandragon thread! Mara is absolutely gorgeous, I’m a huge fan of her colors and genes and while I don’t know too much about Destiny, she looks like an absolutely perfect fit for the character! I have a ton of fandragons woven into my lair. They get a sort of basic vibe from their namesakes, but I usually tweak their lore to fit into my clan, so they all end up with unique stories outside of their respective fandoms. Forever hungry for new information, he has surrounded himself by a great cathedral that caters towards collecting stories (the short premise of my clan lore). I haven’t completed lore for him yet, but he’ll be added to the Night Circus, a living circus run by a troupe of goblins and other supernatural beings. He’s a servant of Cipher who collects stories for the demon. Probably one of the closest fandragons I have to the canon lore for his character (except just replace the Beholding with Cipher) lol.

I definitely feel your pain. I've been obsessed with Genshin Impact for three years now, and I understand why people might not like it, but it still sucks to see people who are violently opposed to it. Anyway!
