Kuroba Kaito is the clan magician and master of illusion. Like many dragons who started as Ridgebacks, he is prone to "borrowing" things and returning them, particularly if they're shiny.

Haunted by the ghost of his father, Kaito is driven to search for a certain cursed talonclasp pendant that glows vibrantly in the moonlight, and so he performs heist after heist stealing from clan after clan, unable to find the stone. He is particularly fond of the Crystal Pools and all the precious and semi-precious stones contained within.

By day, he is a normal magician and productive member of the clan. By night, he is the word's best thief and master of disguise.
