Energetic, entertaining, blunt and bold: Weald is a sunny lady who tackles any opportunity when it arises. Although this rational but hands-on approach creates an incredible source of innovation, it also makes her easily distracted and hard to plan around. Other dragons often find it hard to keep up with her quick mind and struggle to tolerate her risky behavior. From an early age, poor health and disabilities caused Weald to ignore the shouldn't-s and cannot-s. Her life wasn't to be lived quietly and she will defy those who try to pin her down with regulations. This coatl judges for herself, often inserting herself right in the middle of the adventure. In her younger years, the impatient sensation-seeking has led to a fair amount of ditched lessons, broken rules and injuries. (Because what else was she supposed to do: lay in bed?!?) Fortunately, many years have mellowed her out. Even though she carries the same spark, her magic studies taught her to to aim her energy, focus through the boring stuff and take her fellow dragons into account. As a result, she's a force to be reckoned with, especially when it comes to anything she loves, like music and money. Ironically, a poor vision has made Weald incredibly perceptive in other ways, allowing her to forsee trends. This coatl thrives on the fast-paced markets, hustling for hard-won profit. There she's known to be a passionate, inspiring and eccentric dragon, bringing life wherever she goes. |

Diverse and harsh challenges had her bluffing through a variety of odd jobs with suspiciously vague Great Furnace credentials. When creating festival bells, she discovered her love for music and she decided to spend savings on an old lute. Fortunately, her income as a bard opened opportunities. In short order, the coatl became a quick tinker, experienced navigator and a shrewd merchant. As one of the early investors in the Wolpertinger rage, many began scrutinizing Weald's investments. Decreased profits and rumours of steam-powered flight had her travelling to Blacksand Annex. Here she spend many years to master her magic and learn the intricacies of metallurgy. When she found that fluctuating mana improved her health greatly, she settled on the Islet. Here she promptly fell in love with the open and direct culture. Used to days of travel, Weald dresses in comfortable clothes of high quality. The merchant culture has her always presentable, communicating the type of goods she carries through her eccentric and diverse outfit. Weald changes her garb based on her meeting, forging friendships through fair trade and good impressions. |

So the air tastes like reminescence, smells like nostalgia and ozone and the silty seabreeze. There is something bittersweet and thrilling in being alive.
The swift flutter of the heart remains, for something in all dragons does remain the same, even though time has changed their perspective.
The realization is just as sudden as the thunder: without having been conscious of it, they have grown over time.
