[center]A goodly number of mine have been with me for the past 8, almost 9, years. I don't remember what I paid for any of them, and some of them are wearing the same outfits that they have been for a very, very long time.
Old man Alren is my custom progen. His coloring is based off of an OC of mine that I retired a long while back. He's been re-gened a few times, but when I came back to FR after a 4 year hiatus last year, I discovered Flaunt/Flair and promptly fixed the mess his gene set was. I mean, Gold Toxin is cool and all, but UGH. The poor boy was suffering under the nasty combo I had left him with.

I bought Twitch three days after I first joined. (Actually, I think he was the very first dragon I ever bought out of the AH now that I think about it...) He was a hatchling, and a Spiral. I believe he had Iridescent/Shimmer/Smoke...I gave him Thylacine a while after I bred him a few times, Blend at some point for a short while, and settled on Flair after seeing how pretty Teal Flaired. He's only been a Coatl for about a week, but he is absolutely thrilled with the transformation.

This knucklehead almost got himself exalted when I came back last year. I was cleaning out my lair and making impulsive exalting/selling decisions when Brik found himself on the chopping block. Something made me not do it though. Lucky bone head. I gave him a new job and a fancy new title and boom, now he's a permanent sore spot in Ren's side. XD I have never once touched Brik's genes; he's always been a shiny, flashy idjit!

Milue is another one who's been with me since forever. I bought him shortly after I bought Ghar. He had Clown and Stripes for the LONGEST time before I finally changed his primary to Giraffe, and Giraffe it stayed until I came back and gave the boy a proper makeover. His buddy Baldr didn't come along until a couple years after Milue came to me.

The last I can share is Sunrise. As it so happened, I had joined FR just a few days before the very first Night of the Nocturne. Yay for me! Sunrise came from an egg that I picked up whilst Scavenging that first day of NoTN, and even though her primary and secondary colors clashed terribly, I made it work. (I might yet still re-gene her secondary again, I just haven't decided yet.) She's one of the OG Nocs, guys. One of the first. She's only known one home, and I won't ever part with her.

Onick, Telon, Kadere, Echo, Eben...they're all part of my OG crew, and all have snugly permanent places in my lair. I could write novels for all of them, but alas, that would take far more time than what I have right now. =)

Yuanzhang is my clan ruler (and my mire flyer). Her consort Galtan was my very first non-progen dragon! I typically level all my permas to 7 (except for permanent hib residents), but Galtan remains at level 1, to symbolize the fact that she's not a fighter, and attempts to be a counterweight to Yuanzhang's ambition and ruthlessness.

Leto was one of my first few dragons, and I got her as fodder my 2nd week of playing! She's always held a big spot in my heart and I just adore her. I've exalted and rehomed A LOT of dragons bc I tend to impulse buy and regret later on, but she's never been one of them. I used to have an idea for what I wanted for her lore, but I had to scrap it since it doesn't work with the jumble of lore that I have now. Hopefully I can get to making her a story once I'm finished with my other permas. I named her after the greek goddess, Leto!
I did breed her and not name her offspring before exalting though............ it's one of my biggest regrets :(

Though she has this gut feeling that the one who claims to be Morpha isn't, she chooses to be with him while forcing herself to ignore the lingering feeling of doubt, as she would rather be with him than live with the truth of her reality.
