You'll begin to wonder if that star is flickering like a pulsar might, or if it's just your tired eyes begging you to blink. You'll begin to doubt that the blackness of space is really an emptiness at all... They said that she would be unlucky, that no one would like her and she would always have grief and troubles no matter what she did. The stars took pity on Luminoir and gathered in her scales. [i]Now you will share our luck,[/i] they told her. Still, she was quite dark and slipped easily through the shadows unnoticed for an entire moon cycle. The first time that Luminoir saw the full moon in all it's pale and alien glory, she said to the moon, "The stars join me as companions wherever I travel. I know that you are far away and far larger than me, dear moon, but I so long to have you with me during the times I cannot see you very well." The moon was used to compliments and flattery but never had anyone asked for its company. And so the moon reached out to touch Luminoir and icy whiteness spread over her scales. They predict what will happen based on the signs in the stars and visions given by the deities. Oracle gave up their chance to grow up and start a family of their own to instead focus all of their energy on their calling. They're an important member of their clan and have the highest status next to the leader. He likes to tell dragons that his egg came from outer space and that he's an alien. His clan indulges this but secretly they think he's full of space dust.
