You'll begin to wonder if that star is flickering like a pulsar might, or if it's just your tired eyes begging you to blink. You'll begin to doubt that the blackness of space is really an emptiness at all...

We are not alone. Can you hear it? Can you feel it? It's legible in the language of static that frustrates the Lightning dragons when their wiring gets bumped. It's visible in the in-between spaces in the sky. It's something most prefer to ignore, forget, never learn, because once it is accepted, the implications tend to terrify the very soul.
