Typically, I prefer to count lineages from one, with the "progenitors" being the first generation, their children being second, and so on. But I wanted to do something a little different for this lineage. Instead of direct children being lineage generation twos, they'll be called generation ones. This is because I want them to be viewed more like the lineage founders--an owner of one basically has their own Greytide progenitor lore-wise. Notes: Captains have a kid crew Banners/flags are important to them. Generals have their own banners and factions. Progens are called captains, their direct kids are generals, and the rest of the lineage is known as the fleet. The Greytides favor cats, silver, and (of course) loot. Generals need a bit of bribing before they come to your clan (they cost 30,000 treasure). Categories: grey/(any color)/grey undertides/aberrations are true pirates. lesser pirates are grey/(any color)/grey but are not undertides. rebels are undertides who do not match the color requirements. scalawags are dragons who aren't undertides and don't match any color requirements. allies are not descendants but match the grey/(any color)/grey requirement and are undertides; they are counted for generation zero due to this. Followers of the Mariels are associated with their Skull Legion. Followers of the Balaviras are associated with their Armada. Supporters of neither are called Outliers. Outcasts are those with no faction.

Greytide. Whether the name invokes a sense of wonder or a feeling of terror, one thing can be certain--an individual with such a title must be a traverser of the ocean.
