Hi, I’m BunnySox, I'm in Wind Flight, and a very breezy, warm welcome to FR!!

There’s a lot of things to do here, lots of choices and activities -- breeding, buying/selling, collectibles of all kinds, Coliseum, dress-up, art shops, hatcheries, raffles and festivals, role-play, storytelling, on and on.

And a fantastic community!!

After you've played a bit, you'll start to discover what you enjoy most!!


If you feel a bit shy about asking for things...no worries. FR's community is very generous and very helpful to everyone, and especially new players. We want you to stay!!! :D

Here’s a few quick tips you might find useful…

• you’ll find that you won’t need tons of money right away -- there are free dragons (and free stuff) everywhere...check out the Raffles & Giveaways forums…I'll link you some personal faves below...
• give each dragon a Familiar & bond with Familiars daily, for a bit of treasure and some treasure chest rewards as they level up
• keep your dragons well-fed -- over 80% at all times -- to get your daily well-fed bonuses
• Which Waystone (Library menu, left) suggests daily activities and tasks for you, helping you explore the vast world of Sornieth
• under Library / Forums, 1st column, halfway down, are your Arcane Flight-only forums. Introduce yourself to your fellow "Arcanites" and see what goodies / assistance your Flight offers their new players
  -- if you Discord, this is where you request Flight server access
• Guide to FR Abbreviations will help you understand “forum-speak”
• to reply to someone on a Forum thread, just type @username and they'll get a notification
• the geniuses at Tiny Little Questions save me all the time -- bookmark them, I'm serious!! xD
• upper right corner next to your u/n, down arrow, you'll find your Account Settings -- this is where you set up a Forum Signature, Avatar, & Vista…and also where you can Log Out

You can ask on your own flight's forum topic for dragon-lending services, so people can lend you a higher lvl dragon and so you can use that one in a team to grind levels on your progens or your own dragons. If you do breed your progens or dear dragons, please [b]name[/b] the offspring something you can look at in the future and not be annoyed. Some people use song lyrics or quotes or themes to name the offspring, which can be really cool! Tbh, some items are more expensive on the auction house, so do compare some of the prices :P [*][emoji=new friend size=1] Don't sell hatchlings for less than 4g (you can get max 5g for a baby fodder) and don't sell adult dragons for less than 5g (you can get max 7g for an adult fodder). (Really pretty lineage + lore dragons in hatcheries can go for ~50g!) You cannot sell your progens, only exalt them. Exalting a dragon means you send it to work for your elemental deity. they essentially become removed from the site and don't belong to any player, though they can still be seen. You can get your exalted progens back at any time and also 1 exalted non-progen dragon per 3 months, but you need to pay treasure for restoring the dragons. [*]Don't go against the FR policies? Personally I think the [b]ghostlight ruins[/b] is quite quick to train in and the items from there are cute in a shadow/arcane way ^^ [*][emoji=cauldron size=1] [b][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/trading/baldwin/transmute]Melt items you don't need[/url][/b] at [b][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/trading/baldwin]baldwin's bubbling brew[/url][/b] on the trading post and sell those items on the auction house. (the baldwin materials you get from baldwin vary in rarity and price, so check the auction house for that: you can often sell them for gems as well on the auction house!) This is a reliable passive income source, though you cannot melt stacks and have to check in once a while to melt a new item. It does work with 30-min intervals though and is thus compatible with The Pomodoro Technique, which is a very efficient study method! [*][emoji=eliminate size=1] [b]Level cheap fodder dragons in the mire with a lvl 25 mire trainer[/b]! The mire is a high lvl venue for quickest lvl grinding but due to the amount of players levelling fodder there the items are worth a lot less than those in the ghostlight ruins and other high lvl venues. Fodder dragons can be obtained from breeding cheap fodder dragons or can be bought at ~7000 treasure on the Auction house. You can exalt them to your deity at lvl 6-7: lvl 6 is the most efficient profit-wise, but some level dragons to lvl 8 for more profit/dragon. This will give you treasure (see how much [url=https://flightrising.fandom.com/wiki/Exalting_Dragons]on the Flight rising Wiki[/url])! This works best if you change the coliseum settings in the coliseum to correspond to the WASD(+QE) keys and keep the battlestone order similar for your fighter dragons: Over time coli can be more automated and you can then play coliseum while watching a series in the evening, or even while reading papers or a book on the side. (If you are reading papers I do recommend having multiple food stacks in your hoard already, as the focus will lead to many defeats in the coliseum and thus more need to feed your fighter!) [*][emoji=gold crown size=1] If there is a [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dominance]dominance[/url] battle going on that week, (A good pinglist is the one linked [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/frd/3262584/1#post_54783816]here[/url]) you could check if they have an[b] OOFR (out-of-flight-raffle) or a public buy[/b]: The flight will buy dragons from you then and especially outside of holidays they may pay more (treasure OR gems!) than the price you get for exalting dragons! [*][emoji=dna size=1] I don't do this due to keeping a no-breeding-lair, but [b]you could make a lot of profit with [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/nesting/582838]breeding[/url] too[/b], but it requires consistent passive play (I have seen people keep spreadsheets for a very streamlined process or just wing it but idk how to actually put it into practice) and you'll also have to come up with a fun/unique/desirable hatchery theme: [LIST] [*]If you have an open nest in your [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/nesting/582838]nesting grounds[/url], get a pair of breedable dragons from the auction house (check their compatibility [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/scrying]here[/url]) and breed them. You do have to check in 1x each day to incubate the nest! [*]6 days later you can sell their hatchlings 5kt a piece, or train and exalt hatchlings for more profit. [*]If you do this a few weeks, you can expand your nesting grounds and dragon lair a bit with the money and then rotate breeding pairs. [*]When you have enough funds after a few months, you could get prettier and unique breeding pairs that you can write lore for (making your dragon lineage interesting and compatible with certain clan aesthetics that are popular) and set up a hatchery where you could sell your hatchlings for more treasure or gems. [/LIST] [*][emoji=familiar heart size=1] [b]Familiar bonding nets you 15-50 treasure per familiar[/b] (I think, not 100% sure on that) and bonding for 3 months or so on certain familiars might get you small rewards. One familiar isn't too profitable, but if you bond hundreds consistently, the amount stacks up! Familiars can be obtained through the [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?p=battle]coliseum[/url], [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/gathering]gathering[/url], [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/exchange/acclaimed-achievements-association]achievement shop[/url] and the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/raf]giveaway forums[/url], and for rare ones you might browse the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/auction-house/buy/realm/fam?currency=0&collapse=1]auction house[/url]. In the last week of each month there is a festival and during this time the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/exchange]Joxar's Festive Favors and Joxar's Spare Inventory[/url] shops are open. In the former you can find 1 limited edition festival specific familiar, purchasable through festival specific currency. In the latter you can find recolored versions of the festival familiars. They have different lore and are not that rare, as they remain available every festival and can be purchased with a [gamedb item=23276].
