Anything below 1000G for me - the vast majority of my spending currency is in gems so I focus on those, treasure is mostly for smaller purchases.
(To clarify, I have more than enough treasure from training/exalting fodder, but prefer to focus on gems for spending purposes, so what I consider on the lower side is still pretty high).

Anything under 50kT, and no criteria for gems. I'm fine with saving up as I need things, rather than having a bunch of treasure/gems just to have it.

Nobody wants to tell you why discipline is so important. Discipline is the strongest form of self-love. It is ignoring current pleasures for bigger rewards to come. It's loving yourself enough to give yourself everything you've ever wanted.
I have pretty low standards, especially for gems. I only keep about 500 gems on hand, mostly because I don't like a lot of gem genes and don't often use them for my G1 projects. But I do get antsy if I don't have at least 1 mil treasure.

Broke? Like really broke? Yeah, 10k gems sounds about right. Kinda broke would be a few tens of thousands of gem.
