Also! I've been experimenting with reformatting the Clan Master List and have been playing around with including a link to everyone's most recent update as well. I'll try my best to keep those links updated, but apologies if a miss a post or fall a day or two behind!

Roll: 40

A border patrol found 6 newborn kits (!) in some kind of twoleg container at the border. Asphodelcloud and Mango have agreed to help take care of the kits. They have been named Ravenkit (black she-kit), Cavekit (dark brown tabby tom), Henkit (brown and white tabby she-kit), Branchkit (dark brown tabby tom with white paws and a white underbelly), Magnoliakit (tortoiseshell she-kit), and Pepperkit (tuxedo she-kit).

Asphodelcloud had 3 healthy kits. Their names are Mosskit (white she-kit), Daykit (Ginger tabby tom), and Fernkit (grey tabby tom). Cats are believing more and more that the father was that ginger Thornclan messenger.

Hazelpaw, Batpaw, and Sedgepaw have completed their warrior training. They will now be known as Hazelshade, Batsnap, and Sedgeheart.

Quickfoot has had a crush on Truffletuft for 2 moons (I forgot to include this in the last update whoops.)

Lore bits:

It has been 15 moons since Sunclan was established and Sunstar received his 9 lives.

The medicine cat, Sycamore, does not believe in Starclan. Starclan does not have a proper host in the form of the Moonpool or Moonstone. However, Starclan is said to be connected with the luminous fog that rolls into the forest of Sunclan on humid days. Sunclan seems to speak directly to Snailpaw in her dreams. Also, their only ancestors/Starclan cats are Treeclan warriors, some Thornclan warriors, and Basilwhisker.

Notes:

Btw, here are some of my own rules that I follow.

• Apprentices become warriors after 6 moons (unless their training is interrupted by injury or otherwise).
• Gestation is 2 moons.
• The number of kits a cat has is decided by an rng between 1-4.

Cats can technically have more kittens and live longer than warrior cats do. I'm limiting kits to 4 for population sake, but I'm letting them live longer because if they survive everything such as famine, greencough, etc. they won't die of old age for quite a while.

I'm using this for prefixes and suffixes.

While on border patrol, Milkfur, Asterdusk, Wheatfall and his apprentice Robinpaw found an abandoned kit nestled into the hollow of an oak tree, and brought her back to the clan. Latebird has offered to temporarily move back to the Queens' Den in order to help care for her. She has been named Solarkit.

Asterdusk and Sparrowstream still haven't gotten together! What's taking them so long?

What promising kits! Mango's kits, Hopekit and Sweetkit, have grown considerably strong and healthy since their arrival, and they're ready to become apprentices early. Hopepaw will be apprenticed to Truffletuft, and Sweetpaw will be apprenticed to Sparrowbreeze.

Quickfoot has had a crush on Truffletuft for 3 moons. She tried to tell her while sharing tongues, but she panicked and chickened out.

Nothing too eventful has happened this moon. The clan cats are doing fairly well, and our newest edition, Solarkit, seems to be perfectly healthy and happy. Some rainy weather did drench Sunflight, making him minorly sick, but his sinuses have since recovered.

Asterdusk and Sparrowstream have yet to gain any braincells. Maybe they'll get together next moon?

• To everyone's surprise, this moon proves to be a peaceful one. Hawkbloom and Brownpaw take advantage of the mild weather to build up their herb stores for leaf-fall and leafbare. In the nursery, Feathernose can be heard entertaining Rowanspeckle's kits with stories of warriors of old while their mother stretches her legs with a walk around the territory. Meanwhile, on Dawnclan's borders, Aspenfrost exchanges gossip with the clan's neighboring kittypets. All in all, Dawnclan finishes green-leaf on a nice note.
• It is time for Eaglekit to become an apprentice! Though she puts on a brave face, Steadyflame and Spiderflower can tell that she misses Cloverkit. Nevertheless, she bravely accepts the name Eaglepaw, and Aspenfrost is chosen to be her mentor.
• To the surprise of absolutely no-one, Feathernose announces that she is expecting! Her clanmates can't help but notice Foxstar's excitement at the news.
• After quizzing her on the many different herbs and their uses, Hawkbloom pronounces Brownpaw ready to receive her healer name! He gives her the name Brownfoot, and she accepts it with grace despite being a bit peeved at the lack of originality behind it.
• With Archbanch now a warrior and Brownfoot now a healer, Icepaw is starting to feel like she's falling behind. When Greenstem trusts her to lead some friendly loners across Dawnclan territory, she happy accepts, eager to show herself trustworthy enough to become a warrior. However, the journey goes far from as perfect, and they have run ins with some dogs, over enthusiastic two-legs, and monsters. Eventually Greenstem, Spiderflower, and Foxstar have to rescue them from a sticky situation. They decide to finish escorting the loners themselves, sending Icepaw back to camp. Thoroughly embarrassed, she decides to wait until next moon to try asking Greenstem about becoming a warrior.

It was a normal, happy day for Sunclan until Pepperkit, while playing, suddenly collapsed in the middle of the camp. She was dead before the medicine cat, Sycamore, could even get to her, and the cause of death was unknown. She will be missed.

Quickfoot has still not confessed to Truffletuft. Will she ever get her crap together?

A small group of rogues wanted to rest a few nights in Meadowlands Clan's camp, but it seems everyone has gotten rather attached...

Peach
She/her, 55 moons.
A long furred cream tuxedo molly, with a large build. She has a kind demeanor and will always go out of her way to help cats in need. She was born a clan cat and did some medicine cat training, before leaving her clan and being adopted by twolegs. After her owners' passings, she decided to go back to the wild, where she joined Nina and Haku.
Friends: Nina, Haku.

Nina
She/her, 67 moons.
A small siamese she-cat with a long scar across her face, and a few others on her back. The scars are the result of an unexpected fox attack in her youth, and she wears them with pride, often telling a dramatic reenactment of the story whenever asked about them. She is prone to anger, over-excitement, and other intense emotions, and has a tendency to pace.
Friends: Peach, Haku.

Haku
He/him, 61 moons.
A thin grey tom, with a black tipped tail and ears. He doesn't talk often, usually communicating through body language instead, and avoids large crowds. He likes to pick his problems appart one bit at a time, and enjoys long walks through the woods, where he can get lost in thought (and bump into trees. Very distracted, this one.)

Dipperpaw passed his warrior assessment this moon, and was upgraded to Dipperwing! Congrats, kid.

Robinpaw also took his warrior assessment, but unfortunately failed. Better luck next moon- maybe try being a bit more patient?
