But even with all of their family and all of their allies the struggle persisted against them. Even with all of their experience, all of their skills and all of their knowledge The Organization could still capture and experiment on them. Allison wanted to put an end to this, she wanted to stop this risk but how? Allison disputed Leiftan for the first time, telling him that going into The Organization's hold was a horrendous plan with little guarantee of escape "Then why do you risk yourself?" he questioned "Because somebody has to, and I'd rather it be me." "Well wh-what about a-a simulation that combines all of these things?" Fearful, their scientist with a high IQ suggested in a nervous tone. It was the obvious choice to their issues, a training simulation where Rifters could engage in non-lethal combat. They already had people like Shotgun, who was their weapons master and was raised by The Organization, making him adept in most of their weaponry (when he wasn't making weapons of his own) but not their equipment. Etufesh, their overall researcher with a vast knowledge on the world around them could help with that. The equipment he conjured up may not be the most accurate but it was something for them. Allison was satisfied with the plan, Fearful could program the full body simulation with effects that felt a little too real. Might not be pleasant for them, but their family was hardy and needed to learn how to adapt. They may go through worse if they were actually caught. Thus, The Rifter League was born, a realistic simulation that could cause pain and felt like another world. Everything was realistic, the food was somehow nourishing, and the water could be drunk. In truth, it might as well have been another world, one which people couldn't die in. Allison told The Rifters of this new game and the risks involved with it before they ever arrived at a completed project. Some Rifters were uncertain, others were ecstatic with emotions ranging from good to bad. Still, they understood, this simulation would allow them to test and train themselves against others of their kind. The simulation would test their loyalties, reveal true friendships and would allow them to train against one another. All in preparation for the inevitable day that The Organization would try to invade them. Those who were related to The Temporal Rifters and resided in their Kingdom for even the shortest amount of time were allowed to participate as well. Under the condition that a Rifter vouched for their ability to be trusted or their backstories revealed a friend to them in the new individual. This extended the Rifter Games even further to include people like Link, Sephiroth and more. All worthy opponents for The Rifters to train against. The Rifter League was previously named The Rifter Games. However, after much debate Allison and her Rifters changed the name to The Rifter League in order to better portray what the game was-a place of training, cooperation, and war.

Welcome to the Rifter League! This game's design is based on The Hunger Games but with a slight twist to connect it to the Temporal Rifters. As such, only dragons from the Temporal Rifter's Generation Project and those who are connected to them via lore are permitted to participate (statuses of each entry will be checked for this).

The BrantSteele Hunger Games Simulator will be used to simulate these games.

"The Rifter League: Lore and Creation"
(Optional Read)

They had been fighting for a long time, working long and hard to fend off The Organization. Trying desperately to keep them from drawing too close to where The Kingdom was, trying to keep them from discovering home. Sure, they had Rifters like Kyole, who scared the every living daylights out of The Organization, they had Rifters like Asher, who made them look like fools with his tricky little games and they had Rifters like Brenilde, who's loyalties were unknown but appeared to be on their side? They even had her, Generation 0, the start of it all. But even with all of their family and all of their allies the struggle persisted against them.

Even with all of their experience, all of their skills and all of their knowledge The Organization could still capture and experiment on them. Allison wanted to put an end to this, she wanted to stop this risk but how? She conversed with many on how to stave off The Organization's hold, about how they could stop Rifters from being captured or killed.

Their second in command, Angel, recommended further training and education, Leiftan, The Kingdom's advisor and indirect leader of The Leif Brigade, recommended the same with a little excursion into their facilities as a way to educate their people on the risks of getting captured and the equipment they might face.

This is The Rifter Leagues Entry Sheet. In order to participate in the simulation each Rifter and or participant is required to fill out a sheet which consents to their participation in The Rifter League. The sheet begins with the following information which warns Temporal Rifters, and their allies, what the side effects of using the simulation may be. These include, but are not limited to, explosions, being eaten alive by squirrels, tracker jacket swarms and more. At the end of it all is a section to fill out a participant's information. Custom Events

This section is for customized events in The Rifter Games and contains the following Event Creation Rules.

  • The letter limit for events is 100 characters including spaces. If an entered event is too long, it will have to be shortened or completely modified.

  • These events include: Bloodbath, Day, Night and Feast. Each of which can be lethal or non-lethal.

  • When creating an event please include when it can happen, whether it is lethal or non lethal and, if lethal, who kills who. (If a participant kills themselves, intentionally or non intentionally, the participant is their own killer.)

  • These don't include the Arena Events, Arena Events are listed in the next post.

  • Please include the correct format when creating your events

    (Player1) <--- This is correct
(Player 1) <-- This will not be read by the simulator.
Player 1 <--- Neither will this.
    [Player1] <--- No, this doesn't work either.

  • For gender pronouns, while they/their/them can be used, this is how to do he/she pronouns for player1

    (He/She1) <-- This is correct
    He/She <-- This is not.
    (She/He1) <--- This won't work either.
(He/she1) <--- Fun Fact: Both should be capitalized or none should be capitalized. Having one part capitalized and the other not makes it not work.

  • Events can be connected to fandoms, have no connection to fandoms, be something you want to see characters do, or be references to things.

Created Custom Events

Non Fatal
Day Events
Lights extend from the skies and Jenova appears (Player1) and (Player2) form a cult worshipping the one winged angel.

(Player1) rage quits the simulation.

Any Time Events
(Player1) summons something to kill (Player2) and succeeds.

(Player1) summons something to kill (Player2) and fails. The creature turned on them, killing (Player1).

Custom Arena Events

This section is for customized arena events in The Rifter Games and contains the following Arena Event Creation Rules.

  • The letter limit for each section of the arena events is 100 characters including spaces. If an entered mini event is too long, it will have to be shortened or completely modified.

  • These are Big Events which have a bunch of little events connected to them. Sadly, there can only be one survivor event in an arena event, every other event must always have at least one dead.

    Example:
Cloud and Sephiroth engage in a climatic duel...

(Player1) high tails it out of there to live another day. (survives)
(Player1) is caught in the crossfire between their two blades. (dead)
(Player1) fangirls/boys too hard and has a massive nosebleed (dead)
(Player1) argues with (Player2) about who will win. (Player1) pushes (Player2) into Sephiroth's Shadowflare, killing them (Player 1 killed Player 2)
(Player1) and (Player2) are too intimidated to move. (Both Dead)
(Player1) takes advantage of the chaos and kills (Player2). (Player 1 killed Player 2)

  • When creating an event please include which events are lethal or non lethal and, if lethal, who dies/who kills who. (If a participant kills themselves, intentionally or non intentionally, the participant is their own killer.)

  • Each Arena Event can only have five mini events in them.

  • Please include the correct format when creating your events

    (Player1) <--- This is correct
(Player 1) <-- This will not be read by the simulator.
Player 1 <--- Neither will this.
