Biography
| | B A E L O R | |
△▼△ Symbol | Protector | Omen •• ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ![]() The symbol of the Hidden Sanctum. Can you hear the echo whispering about the neverending mysteries of the world, maybe the voice of the God, decades away? If the God falls, I will be the first witness. ![]() Baelor is the holy and colossal statue standing in front of the entrance of the Hidden Sanctum, made of unbreakable stone, sacred earth and pure gold. Surrounded by a deafening silence and a divine aura, his mighty and sublime presence fills the mind and soul of everyone standing in front of him. Nobody who harbors a bad intention towards the clan will be able to pass him - their hearts will be seared by his terrific eyes, their souls will be wiped away by his cherubic wings and their bodies will turn into stone. Some say that the Aether constructed the statue to be an invincible and unconquerable boundary stone of the Hidden Sanctum, others say that Baelor has once been a godlike being from another world whose seraphic forces had to be captured and petrified to not destroy the world. Only the Aether, the Apeiron and the God know the truth and are able to understand his unspoken thoughts. Baelor is deeply involved into the eternal conflict of the three gods: When Ruth, the adopted and treasured daughter of Baelor and Satet, was abducted by the God who tries to fill her heart with darkness and to bring her to his side, making use of her secret and mystic powers, Baelor sent her the creature Abel as a companion, which has inherited a part of his own powers to protect Ruth's heart from falling for the darkness completely. With this act, Baelor willingly forfeited a part of his living powers and vital energies, forcing him to stay petrified most of the times, only reawakening when an inevitable danger is near which cannot be handled by the gods alone. ![]() When Ruth was abducted, Baelor predestinated the God as his arch enemy, and formed a deep and loyal bond to the Apeiron, due to their according end to bring back Ruth from the God's realm. His unbroken and eternal faithfulness towards the Apeiron is highly respected even by those clan members who affliate either with the Aether or with the God. Beyond conflicts and boundaries inherent to the clan, Baelor committed and devoted himself to the unwavering loyality towards the Hidden Sanctum as a whole, to the promise of protecting the clan at all cost. In some sense, Baelor is the Hidden Sanctum - the entrance, the focal point, where all threads have got all tangled up in one another. Conjured and summoned by the Aether, bound to the Apeiron by pledging allegiance, and opposed to the God throughout all of time. The legend says that on a fateful day Baelor will awake as a living sculpture and unleash his true potency. Until then the sacramental bells adorning the statue chime an enigmatic and mysterious tune, only hearable for those dragons who are chosen by the Hidden Sanctum, captivating their hearts and senses - while its true meaning may not be conceived, the chimes seem to say: "If you want to know me, look inside your heart." ![]() |
