I'm really not a fan of ridgebacks, but this one was bought for the sole purpose of being a fandragon and wearing a skin inspired by that one fandom, made by a person who is also in that fandom.

For me Skydancer male poses is something I really do not like. They just look... awkward. Like they're waiting for their mom to finish talking to their friend at the supermarket. The only exception to this is my boy Iskander, he's the "leader" of one of my lore tabs. I don't know why but his pose seems natural for him? For all other male skydancers though it's very unsettling D:

I do not like nocs, but I love Noctivagan.
I don't really have any particular reason for disliking nocturnes other than their dewlap is kinda ... ew and clashes with a lot of genes and apparel imo.
Part of the reason I like Noctivagan so much is that his dewlap doesn't stand out nearly as much as it does on other nocs

So I've got this derg based on the greek god of love, who is a mirror male (which I normally hate) but because I was going for a love-sick/love hurts theme, NO OTHER BREED WORKS???? My fav breeds being wildclaw, coatl, imp, fae, ridgeback and skydancers (+mirror female and bane female but he can't be those), you'd think one of them would look even a little bit threatening with these genes, but NO. All of them are underwhelming or dopey and I ain't having it.

My 2nd progen was also I mirror male and his interesting colours + the outfit he wears mean I adore him. Mirror males really only rep ever so slightly threatening themes but for these two dragons, it works in their favour.

Imp females are also off-putting, though the thought behind the pose is good -- "I'm regal/better than you and I know it", something about it is dreadful when compared to the male sprite (which I love unconditionally) but the wind skin: wind's grace really fit the colour and theme of one of my female imps called Pandia (meaning "all brightness" as in a pride and joy - also a child of zeus', but who isn't lol)

This girl is an exception to the fem imp rule because OMG HER COLOURS. They are unusual and very bright and the greens in the royal ghost match her ears because she has eldritch and her eyes because she is wind. Her secondary and tert also are matchy in colour creating a derg I could not say no to, even though she was a fodder bab.
