Hey ya, my name is O'hare, and I like dragons, I play reference games a lot; I have fandragons in my Pili fandragons, and media archives tabs, if ya can, try to choose someone with a lower count. It's okay to pick from my hibden for forum games
Oh gosh, I never realized they made more seasons of Thunderbolt Fantasy, I only saw the first one thanks to a friend.
And I remember seeing Pili as "Wulin Warriors" when Cartoon Network aired a couple episodes of it (had to see others online, they really only aired like two or three episodes). If any of you haven't seen it, it wasn't quite a direct translation, it was edited and changed a bit much in the same way that used to be done with anime, and it wasn't exactly doing the source material justice.

Dunno if you wanna be pinged or not but gotta agree there, though I never saw wulin warriors myself I've heard it compared to a 4kids dub lol

For folks visiting this thread, the best place to get started on Pili and glove puppetry in general is probably Thunderbolt fantasy imo since out of it all it's probably got the most English subbed content, if you like that you'll probably like Pili, thunderbolt fantasy is available on crunchy roll I believe and a season of Pili [War of dragons] can be found on Netflix with English subs

Pinging is fine!
Comparing it to a 4Kids dub seems pretty accurate. It was still an interesting thing to watch (at a time when I had no idea where to find fansubs of the source material), it just wasn't particularly good. Unless someone is REALLY bored and curious, it isn't really worth finding to watch and compare to Pili.

Comparing it to a 4Kids dub seems pretty accurate. That's pretty reasonable, Tbh Fansubs still seem really hard to come by for any glove puppetry series, [Or maybe I just don't know where to look lol] so far I've only come across one for Jinguang's Tale of black dragon and white wolf, which is definitely on my watch list, seems pretty good from the first episode
