She had no idea what she was meant to look for, but could feel whatever it was wouldn’t be beyond the trees. Even when she met Basic, a dragon similarly alone and without purpose, her Search wasn't concluded. The instinctual drive calmed enough for her to settle though, and she began to build a home with Basic in the Everbloom Gardens. It was peaceful there, and plentiful, with ease of access to water and food. It was paradise to Conch, with all of the flowers and plants making everywhere she looked so full of life. Their little home soon grew into a small clan, and with each new dragon that joined them, Conch felt more at peace. When she started to have her own nests along with the other dragons, and Basic and herself cared for the hatchlings, she felt that her Search had been attained. They would never have imagined back then that the clan would grow[i] so[/i] much - now it's a sprawling, lively place. But no matter how large Meristema grows, life and love will always be at its heart. It's a bustling place, full of brightly coloured tents, stall overhangs and streamers. No stall has the same colour or patterned fabric for their booth, but the organisers (with the help of the Boutique) ensure that nothing clashes or is too overwhelming to the eye of a passer-by. She's an extrovert, happy to patrol the booths all day, chatting with visiting dragons and beastclans, helping to direct them to what they're looking for. With Cat's help, she makes notes of anything the trade-point is lacking, on the unusual occasion where Meristema can't supply what someone is looking for. Cat is also in charge of lighting the lanterns for the last of the customers when the light begins to fade. She's always quick to direct them to the clear landmark of the Alerce Tree if they're hungry after a long day of travelling and trading. Pippin helps to keep the clan hoards at a more manageable level with his thrift stall, and siblings Errol and Evera run a stall together. There's a good chance of finding rare items or antiques from their booth - there are items from all over Sornieth. Any buyer will need a keen eye though as Evera will insist every single piece is a genuine antique and spin tall tales of its heritage. Some of these stories are true. Most are not. If anyone is concerned about potentially acquiring stolen goods, maybe avoid their stall altogether. Of course both of them together gives someone looking to do some interior decorating most of the furnishings they might need. Kei would be quick to direct anyone looking for pots, vases and artwork to head over to their friends in the Artisan Pergola at the end of the trading strip. Her assistant Matthies is more sensible in running the Boutique as a profitable business. His warmer demeanour makes him better placed as a dressing room assistant over Kashan (who has caused offense in the past by giving her scathing options of customers' tastes). Prim helps customers with the finishing touches of their outfits. Kashan immediately picked up on his talent for tasteful accessorising and practically threw him into the job without question, so its very fortunate that he enjoys it. He also like to keep incense lit and flowing - usually a warm sandalwood and rose scent. Koliai is Kashan's daughter and assistant tailor, making alterations to clothing for their customers or altering clothes they acquire into more interesting fashions. Her mate, Resplendena, sources most of the fabric they use and is a talented seamstress. Kage curates the clothing they have in stock, pairing them up into eye-catching outfits to display and give their customers inspiration. He's often bustling around making everything in their shop look just so. Prince-Regent can do some claw work too, but Kyan insists they should redirect customers who want pedicures to the Olm Underground Spa (or hire another staff member and make a dedicated space at the boutique).
