It was later revealed through an investigation that he was innocent; however, the damage had been done, and Athens had disappeared. He is the only one in the clan with the keys to the vault, which he guards with his life. Athens is withdrawn and distrustful at first, and prefers to take a logical approach to any matter. However, he has shed his shell for Chell, becoming not only her husband but also most trusted advisor and loyal friend. So rarely did he leave the Unseeing Manor that there was a rumor Insignia was a ghost, haunting the Manor. Like his parents, he has an air of solemnity and wisdom despite his youth, and his pastel appearance illuminates the dark forest around him like a lamp.
