The Knight of the Dust
At a young age, Svirlix lost his family during a rogue attack. His grandparents, renown fighters of their time, took him under their wings and taught him to defend himself. This would prove to be vital, as the same rogue clan that attacked his family would return mere years later. Svirlix's training saved his life, but he was unable to save his grandparents, and he could only watch as they fell before him. Svirlix wandered the Tangled Wood a lost soul until he stumbled upon the gates of the Unseeing Manor. The guards at the doors tried to chase him off, but Svirlix handily disarmed and defeated them with precision. Unbeknownst to him, Chell was watching from her window and, impressed by his skill, asked him to join her.

The deaths of his loved ones haunt Svirlix to this day. This drives him to fight tooth and nail for those around him- for Chell, for his team, for everyone. He would rather die himself than watch someone else suffer.
