And since he hadn’t actually been hurt, the adventure was looking much more satisfying on this side of things. After all, heroes didn’t always enjoy themselves, did they? Spellreader smiled ruefully, remembering all to well plenty of books where no, the heroes had NOT enjoyed themselves. Compared to them, his “adventure” had been rather tame, really. Still, he was glad that it was over. And he would be much more careful about which books he read in the future. Nodding in satisfaction, Spellreader let the Aergate’s winds carry him back towards the Starfall Isles, and home… Thanks for a wonderful week of adventure. :D (Spellreader might not have enjoyed it, but I did.) Feel free to ping me if you do something like this again. I would love to see how some of my other dragons fare! :)

@unidra Thank you so much for running this event and for coming up with a fantastic CYOA! This has been a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back and try out some of the other pathways. Thank you to the other writers, @Zalva and @zeffira, as well. You've all done a truly epic job with this. (Belated) Happy Mistral Jamboree to you all! [emoji=spiral laughing size=2] ----- Sleipnir landed in the moss with a soft, "Oof!" So apparently the winds weren't as strong as he'd thought, or as strong as they'd seemed, and they hadn't been able to carry him quite as much as he'd expected - and the result was falling into a heap at the bottom. He wasn't used to making such an ungainly mess of landing - but at least he wasn't hurt and the moss had caught him nicely. He looked back, hoping to see just how far he had come from the clifftop - only for his jaw to drop in surprise when he saw that there was no cliff at all! It seemed that the Wind magic that had accompanied him all through his journey had brought him back here in the end. Still, at least he was back in the Millmeadows and could find his way home from here. And when he got back, he'd have quite the tale to tell! He set off at a quick pace, eagre to share his story with his clanmates.

The Windswept Plateau is quite pleasant and beautiful, with a constant general breeze and a variety of bamboo and flowers on the riverbed. She spends hours looking around her, lazily watching dragons zip by in the clouds and familiars and animals playing around the bank. She even spots a couple of dragons on a stroll when the brook emerges onto a walking path, who wave at her as she goes by with a surprised look on their faces. Delta sees the scenery gradually change as she follows the river through the various regions of the Windswept Plateau, eventually hearing the distant whooshing of windmills. Excited, Delta moves her boat to shore and steps out, glad to finally reach her destination. She pauses for a few seconds on the riverbank to enjoy the wind spiraling around her, then sets down the path towards her Clanmates.

SATURDAY - No Choice Available: Head Home Aislinn had a good time in the balloon before realizing she had to head home. She had a lot of fun and even just discovering the beautiful flowers and singing frogs was totally worth the trip. She couldn't wait to travel back and tell the rest of the clan about it. He couldn't believe that they will let him join their small crew AND they were bickering over who gets to teach him first?? He never had any dragon fight over him. Blushing ever so slightly, the wildclaw sipped some hot soup by the tent and looked away for a few seconds to contain his excitement. THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT OBJECTS THEY USE TO CAST SPELLS! he screamed out loud in his mind, to himself to hear only. it could have been his imagination but in his other claw, he swear he saw the amulet glow green and dim out... This was so much fun to participate in! Thank you so much unidra for running it (seriously, keeping up with all those posts and adding so many links must've taken a ton of time) and thank you to all three writers for creating such a massive CYOA! Everyone's efforts are very much appreciated!

(Also, the giant magical rubber ducky is just about the best thing ever. I love the idea of it acting as my personal steed, and I bet the view from its back is magnificent.)

If only for a moment, it was as though he had transcended the gales of Sornieth... For just as soon as he had begun his ascent, his feet started to glide softly towards the ground. He praised the Windsinger for her blessings: For he had survived the roar of the wind's wrath and, much to his chagrin, his glass chassis had remained unscathed. While they had quite the adventure, all good things must eventually come to an end. For the time had come for him to go home. With a parting embrace and with a treasure trove of memories that were bound to last a lifetime, Bonsai slid between the pillars... Only to disappear into the vast unknown. -------
