Hi! Although the event is over, you can still explore the paths! Feel free to explore the story as much as you want.
You find yourself in the Cloudsong among hundreds of kites. Everyone is excited. You hear music everywhere, and you pass vendors handing out Wind-themed foods and crafts. Everywhere you go, parties and music and the scent of bamboo and street-foods. It's fun - but after a few hours, you're ready for a break.
You notice one kite that is a little quieter. You land gently on the leather and enter a bamboo building that looks like the first gust of wind should push it over. But when you push open the door, you can feel it is sturdier than it looks.
Inside are bookshelves, tall bookshelves, filled with hundreds and thousands of books. The ceiling is painted - or is it a stained glass window? - with wind symbols and a picture of the Windsinger against a blue sky.
Behind a desk, a curious skydancer looks up at you:
"Why hello! Did you want to read one of our books? Let's see... here's a nice adventure book for you. Why don't you take a gander at it?"
You pick up the book, and you begin to read...
You're paying a nice visit to Millmeadows. It's a nice place. However, nothing about the Windswept Plateau has been quite right since the Twisting Crescendo changed direction. You try to go to the grocery store, but the winds take you to the amusement park instead. So instead you try to visit your neighbor, but somehow you find yourself walking out of the candy shop with three bags of Turkish Delight instead.
And it's the wind's direction, of course. Not anything of your doing.
But today is even worse than usual. All you wanted to do was check your mailbox, but you somehow ended up going for a stroll instead. And now you look up and... where are you? All you can see is a vast field. A vast, moving field.
You'd heard before that the land itself moves to some hidden music. You hope you're only seeing the grass move in the wind. You think you'll be seasick.
"Oh dear! You seem a bit lost, don't you?"
You have no idea where this dragon just came from. But before you can stammer out a question, the dragon is handing you a box.
"Perhaps this will help you."
The dragon is gone before you can say "wait."
Welcome to Wind Flight's CYOA!
