My name is Bee, and I enjoy writing but tend to be shy about showing it to others. I also never have enough flight rising money, so... here we are, I guess! Rules: Please don't just throw a dragon or character at me with no ideas, you must give me at least one thing to work with, even if it's just a personality trait or occupation. More information is always welcome and can give me a better idea of what you want. If you find mistakes in my writing, I will fix them free of charge, and if you don't like what I wrote, I will rewrite it once for free, then for 5kt/g each time after that. Please note that real life is pretty busy for me, so please stay patient if your order takes a while, I promise I'll get it done. Please use the order form when ordering. You can order up to two dragons in one order if their lore is connected, if it’s not that will count as two slots filled and you will have to fill out two order forms. Please be kind and respectful <3.
It wasn’t that Timbre was standoffish, or even antisocial at heart, in fact he wasn’t in the slightest, but with his life it was hard not to be. He had been traded to House Wavecaller, traded for a noble’s son as if the hatchlings had been treasures or gemstones. Traded in an alliance to a family that didn’t want him, to a family that left him on his own for most of his life. At least the parent nobles pretended they didn’t loathe their responsibility for him, however loose of a term that might be. Benessa was nice at least, but he could tell she missed the brother he had been traded for. Epsilon certainly wasn’t nice, he was just rude, and threatening, and snide to his face whenever he tried to speak to him. Most of the other dragons at the palace still thought he was too high rank to be associated with, no matter how hard he tried to convince them otherwise. So even though he wanted nothing more than some friends, he built up walls to protect himself, putting on the guise of the uncaring noble, the cold and calculating demigod, to hide himself from the creeping arms of loneliness. He has a few dragons that tolerate him, at least, though just one friend. Lleu has powers of binding that most view as a curse, but he also has a keen eye, for not just fashion but dragons too. He saw that Timbre just needed a companion, and after getting him a presentable outfit, allows him to accompany him some days as he goes about his duties. Eli, too, is kind to him. She has been kicked out of the Water flight before, and is banned from many more, so to her the status quo is more of a mild suggestion than something to live her life by. She teaches him to draw, though he’s nowhere near as good as her, and lets him tag along with her on days when he feels particularly alone. Benessa doesn’t like him, but doesn’t mind too much if he joins her in the libraries sometimes for a few hours of quiet study. It grates on her if he comes too often, though, so he tries to limit his time spent with her. He doesn’t like libraries much, anyways. The only dragon that is truly a friend to him is Avekir. Avekir doesn’t care about the social expectations of the palace, or any expectations, really. All he cares about is love, and the love of friends is certainly a type of love to him. Timbre will listen to any dragon talk for hours, but Avekir is one of the few who can get him to speak back, and finds Timbre to be an excellent conversationalist when he tries to be. He doesn’t have much practice with things like feelings, but he tries his best, because Avekir has so much practice with them, and cares so much about it. He thinks his love of the clan’s hatchlings is adorable, and will visit them with him anytime. Avekir does take him up on that quite a bit, so he doesn’t have to be alone and so he can enjoy time spent with a friend. He doesn’t have many either, as most dragons find his worship of a Beastclan god and his tendency to overshare off-putting. Timbre finds it charming, and even if he didn’t, he would put up with it anyway, because on the rare occasions when Avekir isn’t talking about those things, he has unexpectedly deep insights about almost everything else. Timbre is a demigod, though he isn’t as powerful as most, being the child of a demigod and a mortal. He is granted immortality, and is nearly impossible to harm, but his power is simply that of illusion. He thinks it to be simple, at least, but in reality, it is quite impressive for a second-generation demigod. He thinks of it as just another way he fails to be what the nobles who took him want him to be, just another way to hide from the truth of the loneliness he feels. On his worst days, he fakes himself a happier face and stares into the mirror, wondering what it would be like to truly be that smiling dragon with that carefree look in his eyes, to truly feel good things instead of having to put on a noble face, to fix an uncaring expression on his face and keep it there. He doesn’t need to, per se, no one can physically hurt him, but if he looks like he doesn’t care when Epsilon talks about how much he wants him dead, or when Benessa almost calls him her brother’s name every time he thinks they’re getting closer to really becoming close, maybe someday it really won’t.

Ima looked around, her friends close by, and let out a sigh. “It’s just… I don’t seem to feel attraction to anyone, and I just… I just don’t know how it will affect the kids, you know?” Nymstryx looked at her, bemusedly confused. “Whatever do you mean by that, Ima? Your hatchlings are doing great.” “I mean,” Ima began, looking back down at the floor, “All the other hatchlings have a… a normal family, with two parents to help them, not one by herself who can barely stop herself from hurting them during training, and I just want the best for them, but I don’t know if that’s something I can give on my own.” Ardens placed her claws on each of Ima’s shoulders, balancing a bit precariously on her perch. “Ima, don’t be ridiculous. You’re a wonderful mother, and you don’t need anyone’s help. You’re doing great as you are. If you want help, or you think you need it, just ask, and we’ll help, or someone else will. You’re the best parent you’ve ever met, even on your own, and your hatchlings are little delights who are coming along better than quite a few I can think of who have two parents.” Ima looked up, an odd look in her eye. “You’re right Arden. You usually are.” “That’s the truest thing you’ve said this whole time,” said Arden with a chuckle. The next day, as Ima was wandering about the clan, trying to work out her feelings on her own, she met a dragon named Omito. A former father himself, he was more than willing to help her raise her kids, platonically of course, as he was still hurting from the loss of his first hatchlings and mate.
Ooooh lore! I got a lot of your wish list items but also gems and treasure of course :-) Here's my dragon Trauermarsch :-) He's got some art and stuff but no lore yet. I imagine him to be a kind of secretive dragon, keeping mostly to himself, though at the same time he had no problems engaging in social activities. He comes from a more 'deserted' area, hence his faded colours. I'm not sure about his occupation yet, but maybe he'd be one of those dragons everyone else likes to go to for advice, because he does give off this know-it-all vibe at some moments. Would you think this is enough information? I can think of more if you want!

They've got plenty of lore and such in their bio, but put as briefly as possible, xe's a deity of edginess, bright colors, and creativity. Xe rules a world defined by those things and sometimes brings dragons there for...some reason.

@hypomargoteros
The amount of information was perfect, don't worry. I hope you like this, as it's one of my 1:00 AM specials.

Trauermarsch had spent a long time wandering the Shrieking Wilds, he didn’t know how long. He didn’t particularly want to know either. However long it had been, it had been lonely, and had never seen another dragon before he found the clan he resides in now. They had welcomed him with open arms despite his lack of understanding for most of their customs. They trusted that he would learn, and that if he could not, he would at least respect them. And he did, difficult as it was. He didn’t interact with other dragons much at first, but his clan was a bunch of oddballs anyways, so they didn’t mind one more.

The first time another dragon decided to start a chat with him, he was rather certain the Wildclaw (who was named Somnus) thought he was dead. It made for an interesting conversation, at any rate. He was still able to answer his questions about the taming of ampelopes, knowledge he had picked up at an abandoned library he had once found. The rest of the clan soon realized he was a nearly inextinguishable fountain of knowledge, and came to him for all sorts of problems, from relationship troubles to getting rowdy hatchlings to bed on time to building tree forts. The hatchlings especially love to gather around him to ask him questions, because to them he is the oldest and smartest dragon in the world (except maybe for Syd), and he clearly knows everything.

On most days, there are two things you may find him doing. The first is simply wandering the clan, looking for someplace where he could be helpful, whether that be correcting the “teachings” of Humbert or calming a dragon scared off by the other Humbert, or just helping to gather food for the clan. The second is having a philosophical conversation with Mendelssohn. If that’s what he’s doing and you don’t have an emergency, you best wait until tomorrow, as those conversations get long, and are very boring to most dragons.

This was very fun to write, I hope you like it!

You first heard of the Edgecrafter when you passed by a group of hatchlings whispering in the woods, slacking off when they were supposed to be hunting. You knew they wouldn’t answer you if you asked them, because they were older than you, and according to them, that meant that they were better than you. You didn’t hear much, just the name, and something about a story. None of them knew who wrote it, from what you heard. They weren’t even sure if it was a story, a drawing, or a play they had seen. For hatchlings who claimed to be so much better than you, they didn’t actually seem to know much at all, at least not when it came to this Edgecrafter, anyways.

When you got home that day, you asked your mother who the Edgecrafter was. She got a strange look in her eyes, and seemed troubled, but her answer was nice enough. She told you the Edgecrafter’s realm was where dragons go when they died, or when they couldn’t stay in Sornieth any longer. It was a beautiful place, according to your mother. Dragons who were there couldn’t come back, but they were able to forget all the bad things that had happened to them. Your mother told you the Edgecrafter’s realm was a place where you could become the perfect version of yourself, better than anything you could become in Sornieth.

When your father came to put you to bed that night, you asked him who the Edgecrafter was. He rolled his eyes and told you to get in bed, ignoring your question. You scrambled into your nest, then looked up at him, swearing you weren’t going to sleep until he told you his version of the story. He sighed and plopped down in front of your nest. The Edgecrafter, he said, was an evil deity, who stole dragons away from their home, to xier world full of colors so bright that they hurt. He said that they took dragons away to this terrible place and made them forget who they were, and that if you didn’t go to sleep right this instant, you would be next.

Once he had left, you crept slowly out of your room until you reached the cave your older siblings slept in. You asked your sister first, and she told a story much like your father’s, a story of an evil Banescale who kidnapped dragons and took them away. In her story, the Edgecrafter’s realm was called the Nightcored Realm, and it was a beautiful place, where everything looked and tasted wonderful. But underneath those colors, your sister warned, was an awful place full of trickery and death. Your brother laughed at that, interrupting and saying that the Nightcored realm really was as beautiful and peaceful as it looked, and that everyone was having fun there. He told you that, though you could never come back, most dragons who were invited did go to the Nightcored Realm, because it was so beautiful, and because you could do whatever you wanted there. According to him, there was no downside to the Nightcored Realm, not really. Then your brother and sister started fighting over who was right, and you crept back to your room before the noise called your parents.

The next day, your teacher told the class that the Edgecrafter wasn’t real, and he seemed to be glaring at the hatchlings you had seen yesterday. That didn’t seem right to you, so you stopped listening. He was a boring teacher anyways. After all, if there were so many different stories out there, at least one of them had to be true… right?
