Abruptly and without warning, Enforcer opened a portal from their volcano lair to the Abiding Boneyard. Exactor turned to them and asked why they were moving again, when their control over the Hewn Suburbs was as ironclad as ever and barring Exarch, who probably could have found them anyway given their fundamental spiritual link, the volcano had been quite effective at keeping out intruders and demonstrating their aesthetic power. Enforcer started pacing around in circles, half-running half-flying with both pairs of wings outstretched, singing to themself about something regarding death and fashion and how "red eyes and bones would be so cool for the anniversary".
Even Exactor wasn't sure what this anniversary was meant to be, but they understood the sentiment. After all, on some level, "dying is your latest fashion" embodied their whole philosophy: beauty through, and synonymous with, violence. The finest jewelry only looks better when it's made of blood-tipped knives. And as for escaping fate, what could be more of an embodiment of that than becoming a god through the power of the very soul-devouring void that aimed to consume you?
The inexplicably cyan and magenta volcano abruptly returned to its typical color scheme, although anyone attempting to reclaim it for the Flamecaller would rapidly find themselves lost in an infinite maze of distorted platforms and twisted paintings of serpentine creatures. After all, Enforcer would return as soon as they completed their project for the embodiment of their harsh philosophy of aesthetics. Besides, despite having not been present at the Hewn Suburbs sanctum in years, their control was stronger than ever -- it seemed no one knowing where they were only made them scarier, and that was a fantastic feeling.
Enforcer's breeding pairs and warriors were far less enthusiastic about living in a wasteland where the very ground sprouted teeth and eyes and aimed to devour you, but that was quickly remedied.
We have always lived in the Plague flight. You love it here and can't imagine anything else.
At least not for long.
