Wandering the land on faded paths and forgotten roads is a pale hound, fainter than a memory. Soft eyes peer at those who seek her out, drawn by what she herself seeks. Witchborne search for her in the darkness, a light to chase. Hunters seek a quarry they'll almost never catch. Those who leave whisper of the one who fell short, the child who had been a moment too late, a shade too pale, to match her kin.

Perhaps the most mysterious of all the Witchborne are those born under the Dark Moon, where their abilities lie literally in the darkness where they can create, shape and manipulate everything under its dusky shade. By itself, darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness to which Child-Eaters are most likely to be using, but by accessing a more specific and personal dimension of dark energy, Witchborne under the Dark Moon can channel the dark into a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons and even the most accomplished ones could teleport one's self through massive distances through the shadows.

Due to the fluctuations of magic that Witchbornes bear, it seemed that dragons born under this particular element wielded energy-based magic far better than most. After all, Arcane was just as close to Chaos. Dragons born under this element are also gifted in the following:

Arcane: Those with star-hewn eyes can read the heavens. These beasts are masters of the dreamscape, molding and crafting their dream realms with frightening realism.

Inception: capable of planting ideas in dreams and making dreamers believe them to be true.

TAROT MEANING:

The World card in the tarot deck has a dancing figure at the center. The dancing figure on the card has one leg crossed over the other and holds a wand in either hand. She symbolizes balance and evolution in movement. The fulfillment and unity that she represents is not one that is static, but ever-changing, dynamic and eternal.

The green wreath of flowers that surrounds the central figure is a symbol of success, while the red ribbons that wrap around it are reminiscent of infinity. There are four figures on each corner of the card - and they are the same ones that are in the Wheel of Fortune. The four figures represent Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius and Taurus - representative of the four corners of the universe, the four elements, and the four evangelicals. Together, they symbolize the harmony between all of their energies.

It had been decades before the Witchborne had deemed it safe to marry once again under the blessings of the dragon deities, which resulted into Witchborne more capable of honing their abilities that they would grow into, all under the element they were born into. The Children had proved to be more adept, or at some times, surprising as some elements, despite its opposition to a Witchborne's abilities, gave up exciting results from the harmony made from conflict. The newer, harsher elements, such as Remordeo, Obscurus, Lychnus and Magus, made for stronger Children who aimed to harness more anarchic energies, one such as Chaos.
