Such harmless little creatures, lost one day, never appearing after a week or two ... never in the same way. Mothers anguished, fathers began cursing. They tried to be more vigilant, never allowing the children out of their sight, being strict with who they were with, who their companions were, all from dawn til dusk. And yet another innocent soul was taken ... a memento left in her place, a feather from her wings. "[b]Child-Eaters[/b]," they whispered in mute horror. Fear spread like the plague, foreboding and terror ran rampant through all. To whom would they turn to now? To whom would they pray to alleviate themselves of this savage blight that inflicted pain and sorrow in their continuing lives? Very much like the Witchborne of the Wolf Moon, they have a reputation of being crafty wisdom-keepers, but are also rumored to be terrible at keeping secrets. Nevertheless, Witchborne under the Crow Moon also have the ability to communicate with the dead, as they prove to be more truthful than any other evidence. The information they take from the dead, as such example are murder victims, are scarily accurate that could pinpoint the exact time of their own deaths, the murder weapon, their attacker. Often times, they also depend on the spirits in thrall with the Witchborne of the Wolf Moon that they may rely on. Nevertheless, with the rigorous training they receive as they mature, along with the help of the Witchborne of the Cold Moon, these Hunters develop their accurate senses, allowing them to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than an average member of their species. They could even sense and immediately see through illusions and may even focus senses to look for a particular sight, sound, smell or taste while blocking out all others. In Silence, they are able to create it, but distance, mass and precision depends upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the dragon. Meanwhile, Whispers are able to manipulate, read, and sometimes fully control the minds of other dragons within reach. As with the first ability, the strength and depth of this ability depends on training and talent, with the strongest whispers able to fully possess all corners of an opponent's brain, reading their thoughts or controlling their actions without their opponent even knowing. However, Babylon Candles are rare enough to come by and so Witchborne only use it, as it burns away just after only two lightings, in desperate measures, always prioritizing escape, either for them, or their charges, no one else's. Other's may even call it the Witch's Candle, as it is not always traditional for magic-users to use the broom stick as a means of travelling. Babylon Candles are ebony black, but doesn't emit a orange red flame like any normal candle, but the blue of night fires, bathing everything in a ghostly blue light.
