Biography
Shorbet arrived in fragilebones's clan as a usurper. Starfall, the progenitor fae, was inexperienced, and given Shorbet's vast knowledge of the Arcanist's ways, the clan soon looked to her for guidance. The transfer of power was both unofficial and peaceful. A number of clan clanless dragons (hatched without parents to care for them) flocked to Starfall, and he and Shorbet jointly mentored them.
She led throuugh a message of unity, of service to help clan as a family. Each looked out for the next and there was pride in being counted among her numbers. Under Shorbet's care the clan grew to thirty-five strong. She produced eleven of her own hatchlings in the fragilebones clan. Two chose to serve the Arcanist's forevermore, and the others were lost in service to the gods of Plague, Ice, and Shadow. However, as the clan grew many of Shorbet's dragons grew discontent with their loss of individual identities within the clan's structure.
Whispers passsed throug them of a haven for stray dragons, one where all were valued for their individual strengths and given the support and grace to discover them. They loved their family, loved Shorbet, but they longed to be more. One by one the restless dragons began to depart in search of it. Most abandoned the search to be taken in by the clans of other gods and their fates remain unknown to Shorbet. Those who persisted in their quest found their home in the Foxfire Bramble as members of the clan of Spinel the Raven Queen, commander of the Birdskull Army.
With only Starfall, his mate Bumble, and the loyal warrior Shadowfall remaining in the clan, Shorbet decided to seek out a new clan. She and Shaddowfall departed, leaving Starfall and Bumble to begin anew. On their journey, she convinced Shadowfall how vital her own contributions would be in a new clan. So it was that the two decide to part ways upon finding their own homes.
