"I can talk now, yes. I will have a drink, if you can spare," Arrerun replied. At least she knew a bit more about what her runes meant, so it put her in a slightly better mood.

He happily smiled, "I hope you're a meat eater as I have the best Java Sparrow Energy Drinks Around!" He smiled, pulling out a satchel of the stuff and giving it to her. He looked around, seeing if he could spot anything.

Arrerun nodded and looked around as well. She accepted the drink and tried some. It was actually quite nice. "Thank you," she said. Her clan didn't really have a cook. They had very little food before her clan came to the Plague Flight, for that matter. "So... What are you doing here?" She asked curiously.

She has returned to the Scarred Wasteland on a vacation of sorts, hoping to explore some of her old haunts and return to the Wyrmwound during the Riot of Rot to enjoy the celebration in its most authentic form. [i]Optional for RPers[/i] [b]Personality of your dragon explorer[/b]: Ordinarily, Kiliac is a rather brusque persona, her mannerisms harsh remnants of the clan in which she was raised. On this trip, however, the softer aspect of her character comes through, as the Scarred Wasteland fosters the only people with whom she is truly comfortable. At the present, she is eager to explore and see what changes have befallen her homelands, and will thus be at her most amicable. Of course, she's still decidedly crude and abrasive, but she does her best to at least be tolerable to her fellow plaguelings. [b]Things other people should know before interacting with my explorer[/b]: - Kiliac is the Plague Ambassador of my clan, and as such may allude to her current place of living in Thunder Hollow. I will try to keep the references to my own lore and dragons pretty scanty, as none of it is complete at the moment XD - I will be doing my best to stick fully to her character, so my rp may contain rather brusque phraseology (within site bounds, of course). I'll try to tone it down a bit, but I do want to keep her in character for lore use. - I am currently recovering from a pretty major injury and the subsequent school delays this has caused me. A half hour's flight later found her close to, but not quite at the border of the Wastelands to the Sea. The Guardian sighed and trudged on, making sure to pick up her talons so they didn't scrape across the ground.

Breathe out. Kiliac let the stale, humid air of the Scarred Wasteland wash over her, chasing away the pains and cramps wrought by a settled life to the east. How long had it been since she had seen home? She couldn’t even remember. It had been [i]ages[/i] since the clan had thought of spreading its influence into Sornieth’s most forbidding region. Looking at the delightful landscape stretched before her, littered with bone and scraggly brush, Kiliac couldn’t quite fathom WHY. It was a perfectly accepting place, and there was no shortage of clans hidden within its nooks and crannies. Good clans, too. She shook out her wings and let the majesty of [i]home[/i] wash over her like a tidal wave. This was the perfect expedition, really. Whole weeks to visit old haunts, all wrapped up with a ceremonial trip to the wyrmwound during the Riot! The best possible use for the misspent renovation days back at Thunder Hollow. Kiliac took a few more steps, eyes flickering across the horizon in seek of some cave or crevice she could call camp for the night. The survivalist’s nature that she had kept buried clawed its way out from her soul’s hidden corners, and she set her face in a toothy smile. All around her, the world began to take shape; firewood here, a sheltered alcove there, a thicket full of prey a mile or so to the left. Shaking out her wings, she took to the skies and marveled at the gnarled landscape beneath her. She was finally home.
