Since the rules have been updated since I last tried my hand at making skins I feel I might try again some day. About the gore / wound rules specifically. I've of course read the update, but without concrete examples I am still uncertain.
Especially since it is say that "
ease note that skins that don't directly break these hard lines but still create an effect our team deems too extreme will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis as before. It's difficult to predict every combination that may create a gore effect but we hope that these guidelines will make the approval process easier by spelling out specific items that will result in a rejection so they can be more easily avoided."
Would skins like
,
,
and
still be accepted? Or are they now considered too gruesome?
Also sorry if this is not the place to ask, didn't know where else to pose the question.

Hello! I was pointed to here before I submit. I'm making a skin for a dragon I have that's a semi-homage to one of my favorite practical effects creations and was worried that it might be an issue because of that. Would this be the right place to ask that question/if it counts against the "copyright" rule? (I'm not sure how that works.)
[also fwiw if this matters the cracks are orange, not red or at least they're supposed to show up that way, i have them as a very dark orange on my monitor]

@frogletfern The high chromatic colors combined with the chromatically tinted original lines and shadow make them difficult to see on top of the design. If you'd like you can submit this edited version of your design, which will be accepted. Or you can submit a similarly edited version of your own.
