A bright smile would spread across his face, plucking one from amongst the many as he gently blew air against the thin plastic. "I'll take one of these, please" He spoke towards the stall owner, a little female fae sitting upon a wooden stool. He handed the fae a bit of treasure, letting it fall from his claws into hers. He then dipped his head and made his leave from the little booth, nearly tripping over his own best as he did so. Luckily for him and the fae's booth, his long body managed to miss knocking anything over. Once he had regained his barrings, he placed the windmill into his knapsack and went off to find other interesting attractions featured at the festival. Storm was quickly at his mate's side, eyeing the delectable fruit in front of him. "Everything looks deliscious, what are you gonna get?" Storm asked Mystic, head tilting slightly in her direction. "Some melon I believe it looks the best out of everything and easy to walk around with" Mystic quickly responded having no need to give her choice much thought. "Make that two" Storm responded as his gaze now landed upon the owner of the fruit stand. The owner was quick to provide the skydancers with each with a slice of melon, trading it for treasure in return. Storm and Mystic would make their leave after bidding the stand owner a farewell and good favor in sales.

It's getting hard to find dragons who would do well at a party lol, most of my dragons are either deities who are above such a celebration, too dangerous lore-wise for it to make sense, or just horrible little goblins in general! Thyra swept through the crowded skies, scanning the swooping dragons carefully for a hint of red and black, or the pattern of bones. Too many dragons with all types of colors and genes flooded the air and the multitude of kites and streamers bobbing in the wind only made her task more difficult. The entire reason Thyra came to this was because Landon had insisted that he wanted to go and everyone in the clan knew that someone had to go with him for the safety and sanity of the rest of the party-goers. Not that he was ill intentioned - but he did have a tendency though to frighten hatchlings and those of...weaker constitutions. As she was one of the most gifted with magic, particularly abjuration and warding, and not otherwise engaged for the duration of the event, Thyra was the obvious best choice. That of course brings her to the issue at hand - namely that she had lost the one reason she came to the Mistral Jamboree. Between events carefully selected and scheduled to minimize risk, Landon had vanished; Thyra was certain that he had been right behind her when they left the platform under the balloon with the giant wind rune enchanted across the side, and that had only been three minutes ago! She didn't hear any screams of horror, at least not yet, and the constantly churning crowd didn't show any clear signs of a disturbance somewhere, though with a crowd this large it would be like finding a pebble splash in a waterfall. Even Thyra's attempts to track him with magic were confounded. Predicting that individual magic signatures would be impossible to find in such an environment, Thyra had made Landon wear an enchanted wristband with a specially linked magical tracker, something that even with all the bustle she should have been able to sense. And she could still sense it, but the signal was coming from a stream far below, and with Landon's hatred of water that was the last place she would ever believe he was. She found it more likely that all the magic from the celebrations was throwing off the signal. He passed dozens of performers as he moved down the Cloudsong, each with their own unique flair and style. There was tons of food, in every variety, as well. And every once in a while, he could catch glimpses of the sky outside through the various viewing ports and windows. The Pearlcatcher sighed sadly, not really interested in the festivities. Ever since those visiting Water Dragons had brought word of the catastrophe, he had been in mourning. When the Clan Mother had suggested that he would feel better after a trip to his Birth Flight, he had thought that she was being seriously unsympathetic. As if a party would help! How could he ever “feel better” when one of his favorite Gods was missing? It did not help matters that the dragons who brought the news had refused to speak to him directly, as they had recognized the Water Mage as a Wind Dragon by birth, and refused to associate with anyone who was a part of the race they believed had caused that terrible Maelstrom. Seaspray shook his head. As if he would ever have been involved in something like that! And he could not truly believe that any in his Birth Flight would have been, either, he reflected, as he passed a booth selling plushie dragons. It was like that performer he’d seen when he arrived said: The loss of the Crescendo, even for a short time, was devastating to all Wind Dragons. There was no way any such dragon would have caused the Crescendo to leave and go bother Water Flight! No, Seaspray, thought firmly, his Birth Flight would never have done such a thing. Oddly, the thought brough comfort. He might have lost one of his favorite Gods, but at least the children of his other favorite God were not responsible for the loss. And as he thought this, he felt himself growing lighter, and much happier. His Birth Flight wasn’t to blame. He did not have to be upset about his natural magic. Suddenly, the Pearlcatcher realized how much brighter everything looked. And the music sounded wonderful! He turned, surprised at how far he had come, and saw that he was standing directly in front of a curious booth full of blue stones. Each stone was carved to look like a different kind of dragon, and each pulsed gently with Wind Magic…but there was other magic there, too, magic which carried the smell of salt, and feel of the waves crashing against the shore…. The dual Mage felt a smile stretch across his face as he realized what he had found. Who would have thought that a booth at the Cloudsong would have a double-elemental focus for sale? Eagerly, Seaspray reached out for the nearest stone, turning the small blue Imperial Statuette around and around in his hands. Yes. This was perfect! Wind and Water fused together, in one place, in harmony with each other. Just like his own magic. Oh, there was a great deal he could do with this! He quickly paid the requested treasure, and tucked his find away for safekeeping. As he did so, he saw one of his Clanmates nearby, studying a strange looking Guardian whose own magic seemed to be fluctuating wildly. Intrigued, Seaspray moved closer. Before he got close enough to see anything clearly, however, another Clanmate slipped up to Titania’s side, looking quite pleased with himself. Seaspray rolled his eyes, wondering which females Oberon had been flirting with this time. It was extremely fortunate that Titania was so enthralled by the odd magical pulse that blue Guardian was giving out that she hadn’t see what her mate was up to. Deciding not tell her, Seaspray slipped away to find another performance to watch, a safe distance away from the two Faes. It would not do to get caught in the middle if Titania did wake up to Oberon’s antics. But as he moved off, the no longer melancholy Pearlcatcher caught himself wondering if perhaps his Clan Leader had been right after all, when she said that the party would cheer him up… (Something a little different today, as my dragons couldn't find the "official" performers....)

Her frills quiver in curiosity. "Oh, they smell very nice! And thank you, sir, this peach pie, it's..." She bobs up and down excitedly. "It's so good!" She turns just as a couple of Skydancers walk out of the crowd. "Uncle, you and Wynonna have to try this. It's great!" But this pie is a delight he's never tasted before. "Ah, I wish I could visit this place more often. The dragons here are so creative. They come up with the most exciting recipes!" Although she holds it delicately, she quickly wolfs it down in two huge bites. "Hmm, hmm. Yes, that is true," she pronounces laconically. Actions speak louder than words, I guess?

Her new fish burbled in her satchel and tried to poke its head out, but she moved her claw and closed the bag. What do fish eat? the Ridgeback wondered. Taking a wild guess (coincidentally what she thought would be the least messy), she turned back to Momo. “Could I also get a small peach salad? Like, extra-small? Thank you in advance! "Ooh, peaches!" Hurricane exclaims, wandering over to the stand. "I haven't had a peach in forever!" she reads over the menu before ordering a peach scone. "You guys want anything?" she calls over her shoulder to her companions. "Not right now," Hraekon says as Bismuth promptly buys half the stand.

His eyes would grow side with surprise as Momotaro came up to him to offer him a braised peach. "I'd love to try one" Feng responded, taking the peach from Momotaro. Held between his claws, Feng excitedly bit into the fruit, juices exploding onto his face as teeth punctured the delicate flesh. "Mmm, this is delicious" Feng spoke, mouth filled with peach as he attempted to show his enjoyment of the fruit. "I'd like to try that peach ice cream of yours as well" Feng spoke once more though this time his mouth was clear of any food that would muffle his words.
