The Harpy village is filled with preparations. You travel carefully, stepping out of the way of rambunctious chicks and carts toddling with supplies. You take a moment to eye up some wares, then move out of the way as a group carries empty pots for painting. A small grin pulls at your mouth, how much this town has come together to celebrate with your own people.
Feeling a pain of hunger, you follow your nose towards the nearest food stall. The hosts seem to have just arrived, with little jars strewn all over the booth, and a female harpy spots you and smiles. Her hair is up in a bun, and she wipes her forehead as she sits her crate onto the table. A male is working a few feet away, sorting different jars as he pulls them out.
"Hello! Welcome to Feathersoft Jams and Jellies, where we sell all sorts of fruit jellies, jams, and preserves! My name is Sevil, and we're so happy that the Wind Flight has reached out to include all of us in your celebrations!"
You reply back in kind, thanking her for participating in the jamboree.
"We've never been part of a Mist Jam, you know, our families are a bit more rural so we don't hear as much news as the other folk do. And that's shocking, since Jams are my family's specialty!"
You force a weak chuckle at her joke, and she frowns a little.
"I have to say, I thought more decorations would be up by now. Gelee and I just keep seeing big green dragons..."
A foreboding feeling crawls through your chest, and you venture a question about what, exactly she thinks this celebration is about?
"Jams, of course! It's the Mist Jam!"
...Oh no.
Sevil and Gelee seem shocked that they misunderstood the celebration so much, but there's a bigger problem- they didn't bring nearly enough product, for being the only jam sellers in the town! Can you help them find more supplies for their star products? They'll give you some jellies in return! |
Each day, a new recipe will be posted, along with a badge. To fulfil it, you must PM Oneluckyduck or PM L1BR4 with the entire recipe, or you can replace an item with 5g/kt. If you miss a day, you can send it in later with double the ingredients (or buy the badge for 25g/kt). Previous days can be found here.
Gelee also has some bonus items he's looking for! If you send any of them in, you will get the secret bonus badge at the end of the week. You can send them in at any point during the event.
Please ask if you would like to be on the daily pinglist, when a new challenge is posted.

The shopkeepers are thrilled when they spot you above the crowd, and this time Sevil darts away to give you a hug. "Thank you so much, friend! Even with all the storm we had this morning, we've had many customers come back from last minute pickups. Can you do us one last favor? I'll get Gelee to write it out for you, but we need some ingredients, and some rope for packages, and paper to take notes, and oh! This event was better than we ever could have expected!" |

Thank you to Wind's Council for organizing this event, and to my amazing Wind compatriots for pulling everything else together!
Thank you to MythicalViper for the lovely header images for this fest. Your art, as always, is amazing.
Thank you to users who provide free to use graphics for little ol' ducks like me. If a graphic in this thread comes from a F2U resource, you can click on the graphic to go there.
I can't forget Tiramissyou, whose Shadow Dominance scavenger hunts inspired me, and who graciously loaned out some spreadsheet goodness.
Of course, a thank you to my friends and chatmates, who gave me support for this idea.
And finally, huge rounds of applause to BeeWhisperer! who took my vague little descriptions and made badges that were beyond what I expected -your enthusiasm for Sevil and Gelee was wonderful. And to BrightFlight! who also took my vague little descriptions and made the cutest little harpy couple come to life.
