Even by Fae standards she came across as cool and emotionless. Iridice was often in the habit of making observations, which others would infer wholly unintended meaning to. Part of why she enjoyed her archivist duties was that it didn't require dealing with the difficulties of social interactions. Mostly Iridice talked to Tzynket, and he understood her. Cherra was not Tzynket. Cherra was high-strung and prideful, and reacted strongly to perceived sleights against the Arcane or Light Flights. For Cherra cherished both. The Arcane Fae's work documenting experiments and studies meant the two bumped into one another every so often when their work happened to overlap. It had been a long time since Iridice was last in the Southern Icefield. Cherra talked about drawing strength and inspiration from her roots. Iridice had decided to see if she could do the same, and decided that the ski jump was a thrilling way to do so. Sometimes dragons looked after their things and ideas better than they did themselves. While the archivist could relate to careful caretaking for possessions, and reckless pursuit of ideas was common to the realm Cherra originated. When such pursuits came too far before oneself, suffering was guaranteed. Iridice had been among those who'd expressed concern for Cherra's health. The Ice dragon perceived that Cherra's reaction wouldn't change if she tried telling her more than once and fell silent on the matter. Iridice did however note when Cherra did her training, and ensured water and peanut-locust snacks were there for her. She was glad Cherra had come to her senses and was listening to everyone again. A cleared throat drew Iridice from her thoughts. It was time for her to step up for the ski-jump. Such a thing was most pleasant for an Ice dragon. Then came the ramp, and the Fae rocketed into the air, meeting no more resistance than a snowflake on the wind. The jump was not the hard part; that would be the landing.

Even though the experience of falling down from the sled while practicing several days ago still haunted her before today's match, she has forgot it now. She is focusing on keeping her balance and sliding as fast as she can on the slippery ice track. As an organizer of activities of the clan, she had visited many many other clans. Some she had been were holding several other activities when she arrived, one of which was luge. She was invited to join some, and she found herself enjoying(and is actually doing well!) . Dragons in those clans told her there was luge matches held at Sornieth Winter Games every year, and recommended her to have a try. So here she is, after much practice. She doesn't know how far she can go, but she has confidence on it. The track is streching, the crowd cheering, chilly wind sweep past her ear. She felt excitement inside her, she is enjoying this match, no matter the outcome.

"And that's what matters of course." "Right," Marilyn agrees. Malchor huffs, his frills tightening. "Sure," he says evenly. He doesn't much care about fun, but there's no doubt in his mind that they will win, not with the great Malchor at their helm. "Just do as I say and we will conquer any in our way! Blue buries her head in Azure's shoulder.

Cassava looks back at Potato with a gaze haunted by days of early practice.

Day 3 - Tuesday
Curling

Passion casually stepped up beside her teammates. The air around her was dry, the petals swirling around her carrying with them the lingering scent of autumn, as far away as it was now. Her face was dark, largely hidden by her mask and her hat, but the part that was visible had an expression of cold, hard determination painted on it, a look which haunted the opposing team and pleased her own.

She adjusted her hat and the Ragamouse she carried with her scampered down from her shoulder into her bag as she prepared for the round to begin.
