Koyane yelps, tumbling back with a thud. The stubborn bush in front of him wobbles but doesn't come out of the hole he's been trying to dig beneath it. He and Omari have been landscaping for a new herb garden all morning, and the going in slow in the dense underbrush where they selected their new site. Omari hops over, flapping her wings. "Koyane! You okay?" Seeing that he's more or less fine, she grins a little, "Need some [i]kelp[/i]?" He gets up, shaking out his fur with a snort of laughter. "Oh don't start that again..." "Aww, I'm sorry! I was really [i]rooting[/i] for you and that bush to finally work things out." Omari's eyes squint in amusement, and she chuckles as he moves back over to the offending shrubbery. "I be-[i]leaf[/i] that you can get it this time," she adds, tail twitching in delight as he dissolves into laughter, leaning his horns in the bush. "I can if you get over here and help," he points out, waving a paw in her direction. "[i]Thistle[/i] be easy!" she cheers, moving to wrap her tail around the base of the bush's trunk. Koyane sinks his paws into the fresh dirt, pulling a mound of it up toward him as she tugs, sharp teeth gritted in concentration. For a few moments, neither of them speak, focusing on the stubborn plant between them. Finally, with a crack of soil and root, the bush is rolled to one side. "There we go!" Koyane says brightly, tail switching in accomplishment. "[i]Thyme[/i] to celebrate." Omari's head whips up and she beams at him. She hops over, bumping her nose against his. "[i]Aloe[/i] you [i]vera[/i] much," he teases, watching her wipe some dirt from her horns to her wings. I completely missed yesterday's lore update! Ahhhh! Okay. Honestly, that scene between Koyane and Omari is so wholesome <3 And kids! More kids!! This is too wholesome for me, I'm dying from the wholesomeness. <33
