The treasure genes are in dom shop limbo at the moment (big order), but the gem genes... yeah, my hoard is crying. Aside from that, level my dragons (slowly). [b]2) Have you completed any projects lately that you'd like to share?[/b] I actually managed to get half of a breeding pair set up! [b]3) What's your absolute dream dragon? Do they exist currently?[/b] Honestly, my dream dragon changes often with new releases (breeds, genes, etc). [b]4) What's your favorite FR color and why?[/b] It's really niche, I think, but cottoncandy. Specifically capsule, if only because it's pretty and reminds me of a strawberry milkshake. However, a thought I've had for a bit could be applied to all breeds, both modern and ancient! Tertiary Gene: Brindle. More scattered scraps of color across an entire dragon, kind of like what you can find on some cats. There could even be a matching primary/secondary that adds accent scraps on the body/wing without being covered by Brindle (Tortie/Calico maybe?). [b]11) If you could make any scene what would you make and why?[/b] Courtyard ruin. Overgrown. Vines, flowers, nature reclaiming it all. Maybe old wall mosaics in the background, clear frames of what had once been some grandiose buildings. Perhaps even a fountain by the side. I know we have nighttime ruins with the ghostlight scene, and the nature fest scene is a really good rainforest and all, but I need to have my overgrown ruins abandoned long ago lost to time. [b]12) Favorite vista? Is it the one you currently have on?[/b] It isn't the one I have on (I try to match my avatar dragons when I get the urge to change them), but I do have a favorite! It used to be [gamedb item=20807], but I am a dice goblin at heart, so the release of [gamedb item=53736] stole first place in my heart. [b]13) How often do you change your avatar dragon and/or vista?[/b] Spontaneously, but not that often. If I really like the lore I typed up for a dragon, or am just super focused on a specific project dragon in my lair, I'll hop over to them. They're gonna be there for a bit, though. [b]14) Favorite elemental holiday?[/b] Brightshine Jubilee. Weird, I know, seeing as I'm in arcane (and formerly plague), but I love the excitement of learning what the new familiar theme will be for the next year (as well as that year's apparel theme, like the crowns or the swords). [b]15) Favorite site holiday overall?[/b] That'd be a three-way tie between NotN, Warrior's Way, and Flight Rising's anniversary, actually. I love seeing the new plans, but also the creepy apparel/familiars that come with NotN and the little anger brawlers from Warrior's Way call to me. [b]16) How long have you been on the site? Have you been regularly active the whole time?[/b] I'm an oldie for sure. I joined right in time for NotN in 2014 (I think that was the first one, actually)! I've logged in almost every single day since I joined, even if I sometimes just hopped on to get gathering turns in. I'm definitely more active now when it comes to handling dragon lore and all. [b]17) Have you ever changed flights or are you still in your starter flight?[/b] I did change my flight, just once. I didn't like where my lair lore was going in plague, and was honestly drawn to the arcane radiation idea (mad scientists my beloved) as well as their space/star themes. I still have some ties to plague still (necromancer subspecies my other beloved), but right now I'm in my magic crystals and hovering landmasses phase, not by whirlwinds or just pretty rocks, but by magic beyond draconic comprehension (eldritch horror my third beloved XD). Are they the same as items you collect on FR?[/b] I do! And, well, sort of? I collect dice of all sorts. Seeing as the only dice to collect here are familiars and apparel, I make do by slapping the dice jar on sona dragons. [b]22) You get to pick one animal to slap wings on and make it a dragon just like that, what animal do you pick? If it already has wings you get to add an extra pair.[/b] Oh, tough one! If we're going off purely real animals, I'd have to go with an Irish Elk (I know, extinct, but fossils exist so they [i]were[/i] real). If we're including fictional ones (sans dragons of course, seeing as we're turning them into dragons), kitsune. Give me little fuzzy tricksters who fly about and cause mischief for thousands of years! [b]23) FR releases a shampoo line based on the different flights, what does each flight smell like?[/b] [LIST] [*] Earth: Lye or Unscented [*] Wind: Generic Meadow Scent #73 with a name like "Dreams on the Breeze" [*] Water: Sea Salt/Beach tones, maybe even a little fruit scent in there [*] Fire: Campfire; if they can make it as a candle or a perfume, they can make it as a shampoo scent [*] Lightning: Clean air, crisp, like what you smell before a storm (if you live in the midwest in the states you know exactly what that smells like) [*] Ice: also crisp clean air scented, but has a tea tree shampoo effect (aka it makes your hands and head feel pretty cold despite the shampoo itself being room temp) [*] Light: Floral, all the way; likely a softer scent too, like you just caught a whiff of a meadow on the breeze for a second before it disappeared [*] Shadow: Hard to place, everyone's bickering over what it really is, all you know is that it's strong and it sucker punched you right in the nose and left an after-smell of something like pine [*] Nature: Another hard to place one, but that's just because it smells like someone dumped every single floral scent into this shampoo and it just came out as "strong flower/plant with hints of nutmeg/pine/oak" [*] Plague: Bacon, or some other novelty smell that you'd only really get to see how accurate it is, or as a gag gift for someone; it always smells just a little off [*] Arcane: Sugary sweet, more like birthday cake or some other smell stronger than vanilla; it may smell sweet, but it looks darker than pitch and hits you like a semi with the sugary scent [/LIST] [b]24) What do you think the scale equivalent of hair dye would be?[/b] Some sort of varnish, maybe? If we're going flight rising in particular, you can always write it off as magic and move on from there. XD [b]25) You get to pick any familiar to have as a pet, which one are you picking?[/b] Honestly any of the owlcats (though the armored ones might just be a danger to society as a whole) or gryphlets. [b]26) If you could change the symbol of any flight would you? If so, which one and to what?[/b] Honestly, I like all of them. Even if some of them seem off in some ways, I can see where the design's coming from for each one. [b]27) Would you try and eat a gem if you could? They look like candy to me and I want to try.[/b] Yes I would. Then I'd try and make a candy based off of gems (probably one of those agar crunchy gummies) to make up for it. How many would you buy?[/b] Irl deity plushes (or even funnier maybe a Marva figurine that looks like the cardboard cutout but clearly not cardboard). I'd have at least one of each. [b]31) Favorite comfort food to have when you're sick?[/b] Oddly enough, waffles. I seem to be pretty good at making those, and they're light enough it doesn't usually make things worse when I'm sick. Some may sound like classical music, probably some strange funky music for others, and most definitely all from a variety of video games. [b]33) Do you think the deities would win in a fight with superman? If so which one(s)?[/b] Depends on if they're fighting together or solo. Together I think they might stand a chance, at least a little bit, but solo? Only Arcanist, and that's just because he has "What's this do?" energy that would totally lead him to kryptonite. [b]34) What's your favorite dragon breed if you have one?[/b] I have a preference for imperials, aberrations, and aether dragons, but I honestly love all of them (sans ridgebacks and snapper m poses). Usually I'll hop in for NotN or Warrior's Way (or if a surprise event calls for it, that), but aside from that, I'm just there to level my perma dragons (I have a problem where I want all my permababies to be level 25 even if they don't have stats/stones). [b]37) If you've done any coli challenges or are actively doing some which ones have you done/are you working on? If not, do you ever want to?[/b] I think arguably I'm doing one where you level your entire lair to 25? Slowly and casually, of course, but still. Aside from that, I've tried the long drop coli challenge, but I always struggled with thread formatting. I might restart that one at some point. Not any specific theme, just some rare books, maybe with typos that were only printed once or something like that. [*] Gladekeeper: I feel like flowers are a little too on the nose, so maybe some tools to help support plants as they grow? Like posts for vines to grow on, lattices, the works. Things that'll let them grow wild and free, but also help them thrive all the same. [*] Plaguebringer: Honestly just a little booklet of notes on genetic diseases, seeing as I have a lifetime of experience on that front. [*] Arcanist: Free babysitting for his exalts for an entire night so he can study the sky above in peace (the man literally threw his first kids into space to get them to stop bothering him, and made the second set monotone and small). In summary, I have immortal former ancients, their students who are none the wiser about it, and a whole slew of other strange "dragons" who keep finding them and refuse to leave. Among those are barghests, kitsune, multiple lineages, and an entire hoard of necromancers. [b]42) Do you have a sona dragon? If so, share them? If not, do you like making art regardless?[/b] I was a digital artist, but it's been too long since I last practiced that. Aside from that, I write and sing! I honestly love singing while I type lore for my dragons. [b]48) What kind of special classes do you think would be offered if FR had a school?[/b] Seeing as I have an entire school in my lore, I am [i]well[/i] prepared for this one (unless it's an actual thing players can interact with, like fairgrounds or trading post things; if it's just a lore location, I'm good to go) [LIST] [*] Languages: specifically ones to help others understand the coatl language and vice versa [*] Familiar Care (and for those who wish to study further Advanced Bestiary Bonding 101): a class where dragons learn about common local familiars, as well as little tidbits about festival familiars since they tend to be popular during their festivals. The advanced courses (think college level courses) go into more obscure familiars (bosses), the creation of specific familiars (the ones you brew for example), mimic care (they tend to be rather odd compared to most familiars, seeing as a lot of them are just sentient/sapient objects), and beastclan bonding (less pets more friends, maybe explored further in a separate class focusing on them); some courses even teach drakes how to safely observe these rare familiars in the wild [*] Combat: this could go for ages, but you need to learn the basics of fighting and using your magic, elemental or otherwise, somewhere; some go in-depth about one-on-one, others how to work in teams, and others still on specific techniques like spellcasting from afar or defensive tactics to buy time [*] Flights of Sornieth: it's always good to learn about practices from your neighbors, or even flights all the way across the map from you; it could even help drakes decide on where they want to live someday if they don't feel at home in their birth flight [*] Scrollmaking/Vial Crafting: Someone needs to make the gene/breed scrolls and the eye vials (this might be more like a trade school sort of thing, but still a class for someone to take) [*] Magical Studies: Bounty of the Elements revealed ley lines as a type of magic beyond simple combat, so I'd imagine there are specific studies on how the magic of the flights actually affects the world around them (including flora, fauna, and the dragons of Sornieth themselves); this probably has a ton of different facets of study, from eye types to obscure studies on fungi [*] Introduction to "_____": I imagine some dragons need a little help learning how to adapt to new bodies when they change their breed; mirrors suddenly learning how to handle charges after becoming guardians, new aethers who have to fight the urge to eat their textbooks, and even literally any breed getting used to their new head as an aberration are just a few examples; not a common class you'd find in the local elementary school, but it's definitely out there [/LIST] [b]49) Tell me your best dragon joke.[/b] I'd share more of my lore if it wouldn't dragon and on for the next year or two. The general premise is that the government relocated all the misfits and permanently injured dragons to an abandoned base in the middle of Siberia. They go from strangers to friends and cooperate to survive in the brutal Siberian winter. As for my FR lore, a plague clan resides under a beast's giant skeleton. Their main income is from exalting, which consists of an elder converting outsiders to Plague, with some surviving to be part of the clan, and most others sent to work under Plaguebringer.
