Mariya is [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/52#post_56598241]Spire[/url]’s brother. When the lair who hatched him noted that he happened to be the identical colors to Spire, I just had to have him. I’m all for that extra angst, you know what I mean? As a pale Coatl?
But, I had an idea that I wanted to use, and Mariya was perfect for it. I always thought pale-colored Coatls would kinda do what sorceresses in the book series the Witcher did: they magically remove any physical flaw to become perfectly beautiful. Mari uses Shadow magic to attain this goal. The skin he wears is the appearance he’s chosen for himself, but he is still that pale colored Coatl underneath.
Mariya isn’t my only full body skinned dragon, but he is… one of my favorites. I like them all, okay?
I had a plan for him to one day meet another dragon that he was finally able to show himself to. I am therefore looking for a dragon that can make nice hatchlings with this one… So I need to make a note of that or I’m never going to remember.

We've already seen Nyss here before but she's my best example of a mostly full coverage skin that is still specific to the dragon. It can only be her underneath there! I like how it turns her xxx cottoncandy into something resembling a tooth couched in a gum.
And since she's already been here, I really love this skin too, but feel like it could be any dragon under there, since I just slapped it on a suitable hatchling for viewing pleasure. Maybe one day I'll find an oldie that needs the help or something

My friends suggested keeping the son and ditching Jiaozi, but I couldn't do that. Instead I gave his outfit to his son, and gave Jiaozi a full remake with a fullbody skin I really liked and had been looking for an excuse to use.

Mariya is gorgeous :O Usually full-coverage skins (and skins in general, to be honest) aren't my cup of tea, so I'll show my [b]oracle[/b] from yesterday's theme. I could yap about this fella for ages.
This is Zyrephon, the head Soothsayer of the clan. Alongside the occasional prophetic dream, he taps into visual illusion magic to scry the future, usually revealing his findings to other dragons. He's physically mute after his tongue was cut out by dragons who "adopted" (manipulated and used) him. At the time, he didn't really know how to control his visions, and had made things up to protect himself from abuse. Eventually, however, his group figured out his ploy, and the leader decided to teach him a lesson by maiming him so he could "never tell a lie again."
Since, he's recovered nicely, learning his knack for illusion magic in both scrying and communication with others. He's a skilled mage, and very thoughtful, but rather distant for the most part. He prefers to keep to himself and use his future-sight only to receive dangerous omens or see the future of dragons who desperately approach him for help.

The story of Jeddak is that I wanted to use this Tundra skin, so when I saw this guy I knew he was the one. He matches it really well, no? I also really like the outfit I landed on for him. Kinda other-worldly, which is the lore from the lineage he comes from. His father is apparently a star-traveler, so that’s what Jeddak does now!
And it’s ironic because he’s an Earth dragon. I plan on incorporating that into his lore somehow. This is what I get for getting a dragon based purely on aesthetics instead of already having a lore idea for it.
Anyway, so he does that cool thing. And I’ve seen a surprising number of dragons that are from other universes or travel to other planets or dimensions or other things like this - so I’m wondering how many of you have one

He took to reentry strangely well, almost immediately running all the way down to the Southern Icefield, where he planted himself on a mountain and stared right back up at the stars, only going inside his cave during the day, somehow not realizing that his cave was always stocked with fresh bugs and plants for him to munch on.
Yes, of course, this was him being taken in by a clan without even realizing it. He was lovingly taken in and given a room with a glass dome that allowed him to stare right up at the stars. Someday, somehow, he wants to return to the sky, even if it's just for a little bit.
