Sorry for the second ping, everyone. I had ever intention of answering you all yesterday, but I've been fighting a terrible headache these last two days and I thought it might go away today but alas.

He's amazing! I've always liked those High Noon hats, but I find them kind of difficult to use... though I do have at least one dragon wearing it. The amount of writing you have is impressive. Wow. I love it when a character just grabs you like that. Feels kind of rare, though. I'm one of those hit-or-misses myself. But the work is also worth it.

Ah! That's so cool you still have that outfit you made for him! Also - what a worthy scatter, oh my word. I think you're right about the Magenta. That's just. That's something. It's always the tertiary isn't it...? But now? Wow. I feel like Murk is one of those underappreciated colors, and it just works with her. And, of course, a beautiful dressing job.

Aw, he's cute. I love that he's a reincarnation of a character from another site. A site with pet-death. Wow. That would give me hives. I'm stressed enough. That's also impressive dedication to get your first guy gem genes? I have to serious have a sit-down-talking-to with myself to get a gem gene for a dragon. Unless it's like... a fandragon I'm currently obsessed with then it's like I can't stop myself and I have two copies of Sarcophagus in two days. I have a problem. Anyways. Best of luck with the hatchos! I love lore families. They're the best.

And dang you aren't kidding about the colors for your random. I do like the skin and apparel on her. Totally worth it. I feel similarly about some of my dragons, but you know... the scry button is there if you want to see them without all the stuff that makes them just as pretty but in a different way.

I keep telling myself that I need more female Guardians, because Empyrea is so neat with that swamp aesthetic! I don't see stripes too much anymore except on older dragons, but it's just right. Like you can see the little veins of a leaf in the wings, and it even matches the Everglade Lasher with her! My random progen was lucky before I even understood what was good or not. Originally I gave them Jupiter when it came out, but then Flaunt was released and that was a game changer. His outfit might change once every 2 months because I'm picky with him, but his genes are likely permanent for that old dragon feel.

I enjoyed the album, but I mostly enjoyed the album cover. Maybe “enjoyed” is too strong a word. I’m not sure exactly what that thing is, but I’ve stared at it for several consecutive minutes multiple times over the last several years. I mean, look at the teeth on that thing. Talk about needing dental work. Probably a very common problem for eldritch horrors. Anyway, so when I put together that the Royalist items were a thing and thought that it just looked like an absolutely enormous Fae-gone-wrong, I decided to make a fandragon of it. And so. Here we are. I’m not sure it’s to my benefit that the dragon I happened across with the colors I wanted had multi-gaze. But I guess it worked out! One of my favorite things about her is the Moss Thylacine, though. The way it makes her fins kinda gold-ish. I think it’s great. For Thylacine. Which is a bar, I’m led to believe. I do tend to make all my dragons into characters of some kind, though. I don’t know why; it’s a compulsion. This one is a musician, of course, but what she really does is investigate ghosts. She’s not the only one of my dragons that does that, but she is the best, having been at it for so long. The rumors go that she’s actually dead herself, resurrected on her hatchdate to bring terror to other ghosts and phantoms like herself. Show me a dragon that is [b]Ancient[/b] (or, alternatively, an actual Ancient)! How old are they? What have they been doing for all that time? What do they do with all that experience now? [/quote] I'm actually the same about gem genes! But he's my main character so I figured it made sense to go all out :D ----- Axius is my grumpy old mountain man. Most of my lore takes place in a high-tech metropolis, but he's like "cities SUCK" so he lives in a cave. He sleeps on his hoard. Very old-school. I probably bought him one one of my wild AH shopping sprees, you know. As we all do from time to time, I think. But here’s the cool thing about Zane, particularly today. He’s ten years old today. The big one-oh. A decade. Quite a milestone for a collection of pixels assigned a unique identifying number. I bought him with only Iridescent and Shimmer, which I believe I upgraded with a good Trail and Thylacine. Not every day I give a dragon Thylacine on purpose, but I think he looks pretty great. I was about to get rid of him multiple times when I finally was able to make some site skin work on him, courtesy of those bonecarver things, too. Honestly, that apparel set has been a life-saver to so many of my dragons. Just wait until you meet Jonah. Zane, due to his age, got plopped into the beginning of my dragons’ story as a side character. A guy that kind-of on-accident takes advantage of them in the early days of the company. But everyone is the main character of their own story, and he took on a little bit of a life of his own. Plus he just looks so cool that I’m planning a comeback for him. See, not everybody has to die in this monster-hunting drama that I say I’m writing from time to time. He was pretty bald for awhile, but I found an excellent skin awhile back that I think looks great with his familiar!

Since 2022 I have been getting at least one dragon on my birthday. Despite being on site for six years I have only been online this time of year for three. XVIII is the dragon who started it all. Happy birthday, Zane! Hitting that big decade milestone has to be so exciting. That is such a cheeky little skin too, with the big toothy Tundra grin peeking out. Thylacine is a tricky gene, but I always liked what it does around the eyes for that natural eyeshadow. Zane wears it wonderfully! For the birthday theme, Hazel hits a decade old in December this year. Super excited to have such an old perma-youth dragon! This is Hazel, one of my earliest dragons that I purchased as an [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/den/162173/1347422?name=&type=undefined]elemental set[/url]. I sprinkled in a bit of lore where each of them is related to my clan's mythology in some way, basically being ghosts or guardian angels. Hazel in particular is a warning against eating poisonous plants and young dragons will often sing rhymes to remember which mushrooms are safe to eat. (also my about and faq dragon) I didn't hatch her, but a day or two after my birthday I searched the ah for g1s born then. and I found her!!
