this was before open registration windows and i had just turned 13 i was NOT going to miss the chance to sign up for a dragon game using art from my favorite how to draw book :P
i chose seafoam first, then something dark that kinda looks good. this was 2015 so all genes were pretty plain.

i have no idea what made me pick sky and white??? i know i picked white to match it, but why sky in the first place? i guess i just messed around for a while until i figured something out that looked nice to me and i selected that. idk that was 7 whole years ago (plus a day)

blue and green are my favorite colors, so I picked a nice-looking blue (denim) and a nice-looking green (jade). then I got lemon tert and was disappointed haha but I've grown to like it, it's just part of him now

I was thinking I wanted Sunflower colors... Too bad her tert sucked. I wish I'd played in the scrying workshop more, maybe I'd have made a double. So glad I scattered, this was unworkable as I didn't want to breed change her <3

Honestly? Don’t even remember. Probably just thought they looked cool at the time. Wouldn’t have chosen them again, Maize and Blood are particularly frustrating to get to work together…

I was trying to find a cool angle for a wind dragon that wasn't typical windy look. I decided on autumn-y colours because I liked the idea of a wind dragon representing the autumn wind. Plus, I just like these light brown colours a lot. That's how I ended up with Ashmane, the Autumn Herald.
I did not go scrying or anything, I just picked colours that I thought looked good.

I was going for a space creature-ish vibe, realized I chose water, thought "hey, I could just choose storm to make this work" and then started messing around with the colors around that, ended up landing on royal and promptly forgot i had, leading me to believe her secondary was storm for a good 2-3 months, didn't quite understand what the tert did and after landing on ice gave up on trying to figure it out and left it as that.
