I found Dropoff on the AH right around the time the new Arlo plot dropped, and a role for her just popped into my head. She's an underwater archaeologist, able to dive deeper than most dragons in her line of work. Part of the reason she's so good at working in the lightless depths is that her world has always been lightless. She doesn't need to see to find her way around.

An absolute sweetheart, but also a complete and utter liar (usually to protect himself or others), I went through a lot of effort to make Konoe's blindness as respectful as possible. In the game itself, I actually made an attempt to blindproof his house! But for stuff related to the dragon and himself, when he went blind, it was. A lot for him. His mourning phase was one of rage. He wanted to prove himself at every turn, because he couldn't accept the idea of becoming useless (despite the fact he wasn't going to be). Because, more than anything, his greatest fear is to become useless.
He developed blindness completely naturally, and still has some vision. Just not much. He uses a cane (as shown on his dragon), though it took some convincing to get him to start using one at first. He's quite attached to it now, though.

Emory is a blind coatl who studies culture and religion in Wind! They often conduct interviews with locals and hope to broaden accessibility to other scholars by creating more resources in braille.

Grange is a retired piano instructor! She isn't completely blind but in her older age she definitely isn't seeing as well as she used to and occasionally needs some help getting around.

Totality is a young fae who loves astronomical phenomena and damaged his eyes looking at a solar eclipse too long despite everyone telling him not to. He has to wear a veil to keep him in darkness to help his eyes heal.
