Isolation is a faceless beast.
Who else is here but I?
The silence is deafening.
Whose blindfold is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.
It really is a tale of woe,
I watch him frown. I cry hello.
His body begins to ache,
And he sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.
The blindfold is old, tattered and cheap,
But he has promises to keep,
Until then he shall not sleep.
He lies in bed with ducts that weep.
He rises from his bitter bed,
With thoughts of sadness in his head,
He idolises returning.
Facing the day with eager yearning.
Solis was born of light, and was initiated to the counsel of stars at a young age. He was to lord over his section of the stars as Arcturus, however, as the years went on, one young counsel member grew envious of the lord. Since Solis was the brightest of the northern hemisphere,
it gave him quite the attention. The lord Vega was unnoticed next to Solis, and after lord Vega was removed of his position of the North Star, he wanted to deal out his anger. A fierce battle broke out in the heavens, radiating light among the inky void. Solis's eyes were maimed from the resulting fight, dimming his bright presence, and was cast far into deeper space. Stumbling around as pure light, he fell to Sornieth. The Lightweaver witnessed the event and took pity upon the fallen star, gifting him the form of a dragon.
With his dignity shattered, he looks skyward for an answer to his many questions. With no answer to his pleas, he wanders in wait for his brilliance to return and to find his way back to the counsel. If only he knew that he was granted a physical form, one that could not hold the heat of suns. He only knew of one thing, revenge.
