This one was one of the children of my first dragon ever purchased from the Auction House.

Back then I essentially bred dragons to sell them, and this gal was sent off onto the fodder floor way back when she was first born over 6 years ago.
At some point recently, I decided that I would go through and see which of the very few offspring from my old dragons were still unexalted (I haven't bred any of them in several years at this point, so all of their kids would be old too) and I find this gal sitting in the current owner's "to-be-purged" tab. I send them a message, they send her to me, I am the most ecstatic I've ever been playing this game, because her mom means so much to me and I thought I would never get any of the old, old kids bred in my lair back. Let alone after 6 years.
(I guess it only half-counts because I did have to message someone about it, but hey, the dragon has enough circumstantial value to make up for it, I think)

"This young dragon seems to like the comment that you made for him very much and asks you if he could stay with you, if not you can send him back to the parrents and tell them that he seemed not ready yet to leave the nest. so look at that royal branch and decide keep & name or send back."

Edit: This guy also came to me in a different way. So, this one person did an interest check for a pair they were thinking of breeding for lore reasons, and wanted to know if anybody would be willing to give the kids good homes if they did decide to breed them. In the end, the parents had two children and I was able to snag the firstborn, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/75622657]Orenthia[/url]. The other sibling was adopted by someone else. I adored my new gal and gave her some lore and a plan for her appearance. Months later, the player who had adopted the son messaged me and asked if I wanted him. I was super excited--the two would be reunited at last! He also has lore and a plan. :D

The thing is, they're 4 years old, and I got them like, 2 months ago. Completely unbred. It was super strange

These two siblings were hatched in my nests during a nest rental! The one with the colors the buyer wanted was the male, but they wanted a female. So I ended up with the male, and the parents' owner took the female. Several months later, they were going to get rid of the female, so I snagged her as well! Eventually I plan to turn them into Aberrations.

[center]This girl was self-hatched, but the egg was given to me by a player who was leaving. They had 100 or so eggs and decided to give them out to anyone who posted in their thread. It was really cool. I wasn't sure what to do with her at first and contemplated scattering her. But now that Undertides came out, I think she'll look really nice as one.
