He writes stories for all dragons in the Clan to read, young and old. Quill uses his own "special" ink, from his capsule gene, and draws that ink from his claws. If he writes too much at once, he gets loopy and lightheaded from ink loss, though his ink does gradually refill on its own. He wears his favourite sweater and pants to hide how much ink he has left, so that nodrake has to worry about him losing too much (especially his mate, Feather, but she still keeps both eyes on him).

Did somebody say book nerds? Kekekekekeke.... ------ This is Zekeziah, or 'Zeke' for short. He is a super, SUPER ancient dragon character I've owned from the early 2000s era, and was originally a White Draik on Neopets. I've kept the OC, along with his entire family this whole time! Zeke is a scholar of magic and has a high affinity for the element of Ice (ignore his inborn site element, I hatched him myself and gave him his proper OC named parents). He's made a life-long career in writing, organising, cataloguing, and updating the archive collection in the Southern Icefield's Rimebone Stockade. He is also an all-round fount of knowledge, especially when it comes to matters regarding dragon bloodlines, and Sornieth's worldly history. When this massive-horned creature isn't buried up to his spectacled eyeballs in work, he's out in the world in the pursuit of new discoveries to write down, or passing his vast array of existing knowledge onto anyone who will listen. Despite his massive size and outwardly grumpy demeanour, he's a giant, fluffy softy, and absolutely adores teaching younger dragons and hatchlings new concepts. He's so large that an entire class of them could snuggle up safely in the fur on his back and use him like transport on a field-trip, whilst listening to all the lessons he has to teach about the world. Even though he is practically ancient, Zekeziah still doesn't mind being proven wrong - his pursuit of knowledge always overtakes his pride. Zeke is basically an old Dad-like dragon, who loves teaching what he knows to others, and constantly carries paper to write things down on. My [i]Cyrano de Bergerac[/i] fan-dragon, Cyrano, undeniably goes here. Putting that Ridgeback nose to good use. He teaches poetry at the College of Fortune's Font from my clan's lore. I have a few who could fit, having joined the clan in more relatively recent times yet still making a way for themselves & forging their own life paths!
