*Seriously* newbie-newbie question--
as in, I have never played an online RPG, and, I'm visually impaired... I've been really trying, but there is SO much info to do with the Coliseum, and most of the articles and guides assume SO much background I don't have, so I really need to come right out and ask--
just how badly can I screw up in the Coliseum??
Will my dragons die there? Have their familiars taken away? Will I be penalized gobs of treasure for losing?
What am I putting at risk if I try to jump in with both feet and learn by doing?

Nothing. You will just have to feed them if they die too much.

The worst that happens in the Coliseum is losing 5 energy if you lose a battle!

I'd also like to note, because I've had a similar anxiety in new games: in terms of gameplay, dragons can't actually "die" under any circumstances. The only way to get rid of a dragon, permanently, is to
exalt them, and even then, we have
Dragon Restoration in case there's been a mistake. Unless you intentionally sell/trade/gift/exalt a dragon, nothing is going to take them away!
I'd like to send you a little starter package, if that's alright!

I'd be really delighted, thank you so much.
