[size=4]How has everyone's island adventures been? It's been a nice slow ride for me, as of today all of the villagers I've invited are finally here, except one's still unpacking. The original two villagers for me are Sylvia and Teddy.... Who are really cool, Teddy especially! Then in this order Boomer, Candi and Aurora moved in! As for the next villager.... I'd like them to be something unique, maybe a cat, lion, hamster or deer.... Customization is interesting... I've never been much for customization in animal crossing tbh.... Well sure I decorate my house in my favorite items but it's never organized or has an aesthetic in mind. I put two flagpoles between the airport rocks.... So that's my customization for the town done..... Also there's haystacks too because I had so many weeds. I actually made some shirts, er well Sweaters because I like the look of them. I made two so far but here's the most recent one! Based off a character of mine. I was running around shaking trees trying to get furniture and I shook a cedar tree and a cone fell out. I was like “I don’t know why it’s using the leaf sprite but okay sure I’ll take a pine cone.” No. It was a cone. A traffic cone. incredibly stupid question, but can someone explain how trading fruits works? :'D there's discord servers where people are trading certain fruit types for others, and i really want something other than oranges and apples, but i'm too afraid to ask how it's done on an animal crossing server or smth because i'd probably get laughed off sdkjdkjh

as in, do you just invite other people to your island/visit someone elses, and then??? drop em? shake their trees?? i'm so confused.

ig if someone has any fruit other than oranges and apples, this could be considered a request for a trade too lol, i could use a hands-on tutorial.

@Swerver yupp that's basically it! they come for a visit and the easiest way to trade is to drop it from your pockets so they can grab it but if they want to run around and explore for a while they can shake the trees instead. its up to whatever yall wanna do.

as for tropical fruits like the coconuts you can get those from the random mystery islands via nook mile tickets and plant them along your beach shores. they're the easiest ones to get besides the ones that come as a gift in the mail from your in game mom lol.

i have apples, pears, and coconuts. if you'd like i can pm you a dodo invite code to my island and i can trade you the pears and coconuts for your oranges? i have a lot at the moment so i dont mind sending both.

So far all I need is apples (and bamboo) and I've got every fruit on my island! I haven't started terraforming yet but I did put in a second bridge.

Thank you for all the advice! As much as I'd like to visit other islands, I just don't have much reason to I guess. I think I'll hold off getting online for the time being.
